Introduction

Runes

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration As an APC
Karma, she hates people who stacks magic resists. The Mark of Magic Penetration solves this problem of people who like to stack magic resists . Regardless,
Void Staff gives you tons of magic penetrations too. But having this mark on your runes can help you out alot.
Greater Glyph of Ability Power Gives you a lot of AP in the early game. With this glyph, you can deal more damage even with out AP items to start with.
Greater Seal of Mana Regeneration As an APC
Karma, she have to spam her skills to get some free damage and gain some HP back with her W. This seal is a must have on
Karma
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power Gives you a lot of AP in the early game. This quintessence is also really common on a lot of APCs.
- This masterie is a pretty standard masterie on APC. This masterie gives
Karma a pretty decent amount of AP, magic penetration, cooldown reduction, armor, magic resist, and health.
- I choose to put a point in
Spellsword because Karma's auto-attack deals less than 60 damage at level one.
Karma also runs out of mana pretty quickly, so she doesn't want to waste her mana on farming.
Spellsword helps
Karma to farm because it converts 5% of
Karma's AP into bonus damage once she attacks.
Item Sequence

Rabadon's Deathcap
3600

Liandry's Torment
3000

Athene's Unholy Grail
2250
- These are the MUST BUY items on
Karma.
Great magic penetration and also grants movement speed.
This is
Infinity Edge for AP casters. Duh!
"IT BURNS!!! IT BURNS!!!" - Cho'Gath
This item gives
Karma some great mana regeneration and cooldown reduction.
Item Sequence

Rylai's Crystal Scepter
2600

Void Staff
3000

Deathfire Grasp
3100

Guardian Angel
3200
- These are MUST BUY items on
Karma too, but pick either
Rod of Ages or
Rylai's Crystal Scepter. pick either
Void Staff,
Deathfire Grasp, or
Guardian Angel
This item gives
Karma more HP and MP which helps
Karma to stay in fights longer.
This item gives
Karma a passive slow, some AP, and 500 HP.
Great item for late game when magic resist is a problem.
This item has a huge nuke that can shut down other people hard. After a target is hit by the nuke, the target's HP is decreased by 15% and takes 20% more magic damage.
I don't think this is a great item for
Karma but you can get it when you are getting focused/CC hard.
- After the rework, the passive
Inner Flame has been changed.
Passive: Gathering Fire
Damage from Karma’s spells and basic attacks lower Mantra’s cooldown. - After the rework,
Heavenly Wave has been changed to a skill-shot called Inner Flame. Inner Flame is a skill-shot that deals magic damage and slows enemies.
Empowered by Mantra:Soulflare – Increases damage and leaves behind a zone that slows and, after a brief delay, explodes for AoE damage. - After the rework,
Spirit Bond has been change to Focused Resolve.Focused Resolve is a enemy-targeted tether that deals damage over time. If the tether is unbroken after a short duration, the tethered target is rooted in place.
Empowered by Mantra: Renewal – Deals bonus damage and heals Karma for the duration of the tether. - After the rework,
Soul Shield is still
Soul Shield. The name has been changed to Inspire and the Empowered by Mantra effect is changed.
Empowered by Mantra: Defiance – Enemies near the shielded ally are damaged while nearby allies are shielded and granted a short speed boost. - After the reword,
Mantra is still
Mantra, except it now has a flat cool-down and it does not stack over time.
