Introduction

Hello you are obviously reading this to learn how to build Ashe. I start with the fact that I am currently in Silver 3 so I am not the best person for advise, but I made this guide to get people to try this new way to play Ashe since she is falling further and further behind in S4. This build is to make Ashe a high dps'er (damage per sec) and allowing her to be able to escape from almost anything.

Runes

The runes are just standard runes for an ADC. They allow you to sustain in lane with the 4% life steal. They also allow you do damage with the AD quint and the 8 AD marks. The crit chance mark is to give you the edge when poking. The 9 armor yellows are to shield you from the other ad's damage. The 9 Magic resistance blues are to stop a support or mage from hurting you.

Ionian Boots of Lucidity 900

Enchantment: Homeguard 450
Zephyr 3100
Statikk Shiv 2700
Guardian Angel 3200
The items are to allow Ashe to stay in the Meta and to not fall behind. The items allow Ashe to escape from bad situations and to get a huge amount of damage in a very small amount of time.
I rush Blade of the Ruined King because it gives Ashe what she needs and the is mobility, damage, and attack speed.


I get Infinity Edge because it does a lot of damage and gives you more crit chances which is very important on Ashe.


I get Ionian Boots of Lucidity because it reduces the cool down on Ashe's Volley and Hawkshot which allows Ashe to be safe at almost all times.


I get Zephyr for the tenacity and the damage.

Skills

Focus- After a short amount of not attacking you get a critical strike. You want to abuse this passive for poking and starting team fights


Frost Shot- When active any auto attacks while frost/slow the target, this ability cost mana per attack. You want to use this when poking and when fighting. Frost Shot will slow there escape and allow your team mates with gap closers to get in there and kill them.


Volley- Sends out an array of arrows in a cone shape, but when Frost Shot is leveled Volley will slow all targets hit. Use volley when poking to deal damage from afar when you are out of auto attack range. Use with Frost Shot to slow enemies the are trying to escape. You can also use Volley it to farm and to clear waves faster. Make sure to use many you are being chased and you need an escape. With Ionian Boots of Lucidity you can spam this ability constantly and make great use of this ability.




Hawkshot- you shoot an arrow an a direction, where the arrow breaks you get vision in that area. The vision goes away after a short period of time. Hawkshot has a long cooldown so use it carefully. Use Hawkshot to get vision on an objective and to find out if you are being ganked. Use Hawkshot to also get vision for your Enchanted Crystal Arrow for a fatal hit or to simply start a team fight. Also use [hawkshot to get vision on the enemy team in the jungle or river or in lane.



Enchanted Crystal Arrow- An arrow that can only hit enemy champions and stuns enemies that are hit slows the enemies that are around the champion that was hit. Enchanted Crystal Arrow is what completes Ashe. You want to try your best to use Enchanted Crystal Arrow on the terms carry whether it's the Assassin, APC, or ADC.

It is always important to max Volley first because it does damage and with Frost Shot leveled it always you to slow enemies to escape from almost any situation. You want to level your Frost Shot second to enable the Volley to slow targets that are hurt by it. You want to max Hawkshot next mainly because it is a lot more useful than Frost Shot. Hawkshot grants you vision wear ever you shoot it. And vision wins games.

Spells

Barrier and Flash are the standard spells for an ADC.

You get Barrier because it grants you a shield that allows you to either keep fighting or to survive a Piltover Peacemaker or a Trueshot Barrage.


You want Flash because as Ashe you are squishy and die really fast and you need an escape.



You only want cleanse when against a team with hard cc

Ranked Play (Counters)

In ranked you want to mainly pick Ashe when against a Varus, Quinn, Urgot, and Sivir. You NEVER want to pick Ashe against Jinx, Ezreal and Lucian. That's just asking for a loss.

Ashe counters Tristana, Miss Fortune, Vayne, and Caitlyn.

People that counter Ashe are mainly burst champs and Assassins. Graves, Ezreal, Draven, Corki, Jinx.

Team Work

When playing Ashe teamwork is key. You need to work with your team to jump on who ever you hit with your Enchanted Crystal Arrow. You also want to make sure that your ultimate hits the enemy Assassin, ADC, or APC. Then do the fights constantly use Volley since you have Ionian Boots of Lucidity and watch the enemies fall.
