Hello I'm a silver player working to get to gold. My account is thatsze I've played around 100 games with tf so i felt that I was good enough to make a guide for him. Please give me feedback on this guide and tell me if there is anything I should change. This guide is being made because I have a bit of free time and thought i would do it for fun.

Twisted Fate was the first champion I ever got into and I hope that this guide helps you play him.

Standard rune page. With the quints you can change them to ap quints, spell vamp quints, or mpen quints, if you want to, but ms quints work the best.

The glyphs can be changed to mr quints if your in a very unfavorable match up otherwise don't change them as TF needs the ap

Don't ever change the seals.

If you want to you can change the Marks to ad but I don't recommend it.

(Q)Wildcards: Bread and butter skill. Max it first as it is most of your damage. It is also amazing wave clear and poke.




(W)Pick a card: Very, Very good spell. I'll explain them all in detail.

Blue Card: Does the most damage out of your cards. If used correctly can give you infinite mana. And it completely wrecks towers.

Red Card: Use it mainly for wave clearing. Can be used for escaping if there are more than one enemies chasing you otherwise use it for waveclear.

Gold Card: Your main cc spell use it for setting up your q's or ganking other lanes. Use it to escape from jungle ganks or anything you need as this is a very important ability.



(e)Stacked deck: Nice bit of extra damage but not that useful until late game, though the passive is nice for killing towers.




(R)Destiny: Oh boy this is the spell that makes tf, tf. Its main purpose is to gank, and oh boy it gives you the best ganks in the game. You can use it to escape, or to reveal stealthed enemies or if you want to finish your opponents off.

Lich Bane: I like to rush this item as it makes his w deal a **** load of damage and is good for killing towers. The stats are very good for tf as the ms is very good mana is needed early game and ap is always nice.


ZHONYA'S: Zhonya's is a must have item if you dont get this in a game you are lacking in defense. This item gives you the armor you need a ton of ap and an extremely overpowered active that can easily turn team fights around.



Rabadon's Deathcap: This item is the best offensive ap item in the game. I don't recommend getting this until mid game as the lich bane and zhonya's are more important but its still an amazing item. The passive is amazing as it makes all of your other items EVEN better.




Void Staff: Good if the enemy team is stacking A TON of mr early otherwise save getting this item until mid or late game when you really need the penetration. Late game if they have enough mr it's better than deathcap so you should get this almost every game




Deathfire Grasp: Good for the ap and cdr but not very important unless you want to blow people up.




Athene's Unholy Grail: AMAZING ITEM the magic resist is good for the enemy laner if your having trouble, the mana regen is always welcome, it gives a large amount of ap for what it is, the cdr is amazing to have and it's very cost effective.



Nashor's Tooth: If you want to split push take this item as the cdr, ap and attack speed are amazing for split pushing. If you don't want to split push this item is still good as the ap is always nice and the passive is amazing for making your aa's actually useful



Abyssal Scepter: Get athene's it's a much better item on tf, the reasoning of this is that you shouldn't be able to use the aura as your to close to the enemy, the mr you can get from athene's so you dont need that and the ap is nice but there are better options.



If you need the hp then RoA is your best option but otherwise its not worth the trouble of stalling your core items. The reason for this is that roa is expensive and has a ramp up time of ten minutes, so its better to get a zhonya's as defense.

Tf is a good split pusher if you get the correct items. The items you'll need are nashor's, lich bane, wards and Zhonya's. You need nashor's for the dps as when you don't have w up it helps. You need lich bane because the damage it deals to towers is insane. You need zhonya's incase anyone wants to stop you so you can avoid the burst. And wards so you can see if the enemy team is coming for. If they start coming for you just ult away asap but if your reaction time is late then wait until they burn all of their hard cc to ult away. Get as much as you can that is safe as you don't want to die. You can also sneak objectives with your ult if you can.

Once your level 6 you want to begin using your ult to the best of your advantage. In other words GANK. When you gank you either want the enemy to be low or very over extended if they are one of these then gank away. You want to gank the bot lane preferably as a fed adc is a good adc and 2 is better than one. After your gank if it was succesful try getting a tower or dragon.

If the other mid laner is roaming you can easily follow them and turn the roam around getting more kills and objectives, just don't be afraid to use your ult if you have to.
