Introduction
Welcome to my Ryze Guide!
Ryze is an extremley mechanical and fun champion that many people should take the time to learn and play around with. His abilities give him a good advantage over others with his poke, disengage and re-engage, and overall play. If you enjoyed the guide let me know, and if you have any other suggestions tell them to me!
Pros / Cons

|
Ryze Has a lot of skillshots, a lot of positioning aspects, but most importantly high damage potential. If you play Ryze correctly, you can carry your team in any fight
Runes
These are by far the best runes for Ryze. Phase Rush gives Ryze The movement speed he needs to disengage and re-engage in teamfights. It helps him reposition and burst out constant abilities. Domination Secondary also helps him with sustain and being able to live in fights so he could keep going.
EARLY GAME
Ryze early isn't that good at all. Typically you want to play more defensive and farm, along with helping your jungle with scuttle fights. I like to get W first on Ryze because you can slow down enemy engages and secure CS more easily. Once you hit LVL 3 you can play a bit more aggressive. A lot of people forget that Ryze E spreads and the Q can do damage to the wave and the champion. You can use this to poke out your enemy along with secure CS.
MID GAME
Ryze mid game is where you get some momentum to do a lot of damage. You can use your R as an engage or disengage in fights. You should be able to do a good amount of damage from combos, and you should start scaling from Seraphs Embrace. Typically I like to go Rabadons for more damage, but if you're behind going the other items I have in the build are good also.
