Introduction

Introduction

Work in Progress
This is a nice build for legitimate Sejuani players in Season 3. Many people think that Sejuani is a noob champion and is a bad version of Amumu and what not. But Sejuani is a powerful cc tank that can be better than Amumu if played correctly. Sejuani was decent in Season 2 even though a lot of haters be hating on Sejuani at that time. Now in Season 3, Sejuani can jungle at an equal pace with other junglers such as Maokai. She got rebalanced in Season 3 by raising her base armor and a 1 second longer duration on her Northern Winds (W). This guide is for helping out other fellow Sejuani players and to prove those haters that they be wrong.

Items

Item Build

Machete and 5 pots.
Then get Spirit Stone and Boots of Speed.
Emblem of Valor and Kindlegem are not 100% needed but is strongly recommended.
You want to try to build one component of Shurelya's Reverie and Aegis of Legion.
Then build Giant's Belt which you'll build into the Spirit of the Ancient Golem.
Basically, we're trying to build components of each item then finish them.
You don't have to finish your Ninja Tabi right after you get the Golem. Just finish your boots when its needed, but try to keep it early to mid game.
After that its really straightforward. Just build the components into Iceborn Gauntlet and Randuin's Omen, and finish Runic Bulwark whenever you need to.

The 6 core items are: Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Shurelya's Reverie, Runic Bulwark, Iceborn Gauntlet, Ninja Tabi, and Randuin's Omen.

Alternative Items

Alternative Items

In the item build given, the items that are optional are: Shurelya's Reverie, Runic Bulwark, and Randuin's Omen. You may or may not want to build these items depending on the situation and the opponent's team composition.

You should almost always build Spirit of the Ancient Golem, Iceborn Gauntlet, and boots.
You do not have to build Ninja Tabi and some alternatives to boots are:

Mercury's Treads (if you did not build Spirit of the Ancient Golem), Boots of Mobility, or Sorcerer's Shoes (if you're fed and wanna go ap).

Here are some alternative items you may want in place of Shurelya's Reverie, Runic Bulwark, and Randuin's Omen are:
Spirit Visage
Warmog's Armor
Liandry's Torment
Abyssal Scepter
Guardian Angel
Twin Shadows

Jungling

Jungling

Your jungling route should start at wolves. Tell top and mid to assist you in killing wolves and be sure that you get the killing blows on the wolves. Then have them leash blue for you. The Season 3 leashing is different, but you will just have to tank the golem's damage. Also have them leash blue slightly more than usual, because Sejuani has a slower jungling start. After wolves and blue buff, go kill the wraiths and make sure to use Arctic Assault (Q). 'Q' into the wolves and turn on your Northern Winds. Also make sure you auto attack the blue wraith, the main one, because your 'W' will kill the lesser ones no problem. This is the most effective and efficient way to kill the wraiths. After killing wraiths go back to wolves. MAKE SURE THE WOLVES HAVE RESPAWNED BEFORE YOU 'Q' INTO THEM. If you 'Q' in without checking to make sure they've respawned then you will have wasted some time waiting for cooldowns and if you decided not to wait for your 'Q' to be back up and just started fighting the wolves, then you will have taken more damage then needed. After wolves you should be level 3 and have that point into Permafrost. Go kill the Lizard buff by using skills in this order. 'Q' then immediately press 'W' when you hit the lizards with your 'Q' then after 2 autoattacks on the Lizard Elder, press 'E' to use Permafrost. Don't use your Permafrost immediately after pressing 'W' and do not wait to long either. The reason is because you want your Northern Winds 'W' to do the most damage possible. (Northern Winds does more damage if the enemy is frosted or Permafrosted). After doing the 'Q' 'W' 'E' combo, wait until your Northern Winds 'W' is not attacking anymore. Then lead the Lizard Elder into the brush right next to red buff. This is to prevent the enemy jungler from seeing you and stealing the buff. Although you don't have to do this, it is recommended. After Lizard Elder, you may need to 'b'. If not, then kill the golems.

After you get to level 4, you should start to gank lanes. Try to help out top lane the most, because they are soloing the lane and are farther away from the team.

If you are going to do a level 2 gank, then your jungling path and skill order should be different. Put your first point into Permafrost 'E' and have your mid and top lane help you kill wolves and Blue. After blue buff you should be level 2. Put the next point into Arctic Assault 'Q' and gank top. Your Permafrost should almost guarantee a kill level 2. Go through the top river bush or the enemy tri-bush. You should either initiate with 'Q' and press 'E' immediately, or get an autoattack in and press 'E' and use your 'Q' to chase. If necessary, your top should ignite or you may use up your flash. This is perfectly fine because first blood top lane is worth it.

Also, when you're jungling, be sure to buy wards and ward both your jungle defensively, and if you're fed, ward the enemies jungle. Also when you can you could help out top, mid or bot by warding key points in the river.

It is best that when you roam into the enemy jungle to steal buffs or monsters, be sure to have your teammates follow you. For example, if you're going to steal blue or wolves, then tell mid to follow and give mid blue or if the enemy jungler is out of position, then go for a kill. As Sejuani, although her cooldowns may be a little lengthy and she may run out of mana quickly mid game, try to give the blue buff to your mid lane or ap caster except for the first one.
