Starting out as AD Shaco, you mainly want to gank when the enemy team is pushing up due to your backstab passive. Stabbing people in the back due bonus damage but make sure before doing this you place a box where they would most likely run away and q to sneak up. When they run into the box make sure to E the enemy so it's harder for them to get away. In team fights Shaco is capable of going behind the team, killing the adc, and getting away. He's known as one of league's slipperiest champions. Bot and mid are ideal ganking lanes due to the amount of potential squishy picks in those lanes.

Starting out as AP Shaco, you want to place your boxes river area and when you see the comet go off you'll know someone triggered it. This is a great way to keep track of the enemy jungler cause you can't win 1v1's super early. When ganking you want to q into lane and set up boxes in the enemy champion's exit. E them so they can't run away from your laners and try to damage them with backstab. When stepping into the box they should take good damage since you're building AP and most likely secure a kill based on how well the lane was set up.

Jungle clear on either side should always be raptors, smite red buff, smite krugs, wolves, smite blue bluff, gromp, smite scuttle crab. You never want to ask for a leash seeing as it puts behind your laners and you really don't need one, starting blue side destroys your ganking potential. AP shaco can skip krugs and go straight to wolves, try to avoid doing blue and red buffs back to back.
