NOTE
As you might be seeing already, this guide is not finished yet!
I will continue to write a chapter for Gameplay, till then you may get inspired by my preferred Itembuilds and Runes, below you can get further information on why I picked each Item and Rune.
Hope this will help you!
Items
Getting Frostfang asap is important for your gold income.
So dont hesitate to get it.

Being less effective than normal potions, the Refillable Potion will save you money though which you will need to get your Liandrys as early as possible, most of the time youll get poked much in lane when placing boxes for example or trying an engage, so a little health in your item stash comes handy.

Depending on your gold you will have to choose between Boots and Dark Seal on your first back, if you plan to go heavily aggressive in lane u might use the Boots for more utility and getting behind the enemy.
If youre being pushed/poked its most of the time better to get Dark Seal for higher potion effectivenes and a nice mana plus, giving you the ability to place more boxes and survive.
Sidenote: Please do not buy Mejais Soulstealer out of your Dark Seal if youre not having at least 8 stacks on it and are not very sure that you will not die in the following minutes! It will keep you from getting Liandrys as soon as possible and is not that effective on Shacos early as on other champs, even if stacked (low AP ratio on boxes).

As soon as you got the items mentioned before, you need to rush Liandrys Torment which is by far the most important item in this build.
Thats because of its passive, which gets activated by every box hit you get!
Start off by buying Haunting Guise. You might choose Blasting Wand too if youre winning the lane hard. In most of the cases I prefer to get Haunting Guise first cause of its passive and the sustainability it guarantees.

As mentioned before, the AP ratios on shaco are not that high.
Getting Sorcercers Boots will increase your damage and utility at the same time and are therefore the key pick after Liandrys.
In my opinion Shaco supp is an all-in pick. So I dont bother about getting Ninja Tabi/Mercurys to build against the enemy team. You will need the Magic Penetration provided by Sorcercers to get your damage done, otherwise you might survive a bit longer but are overall less effective. There might be different opinions about this though!

For my next item, I choose Rylai's most of the time. That has a couple of reasons:
- First of all its a relatively cheap Item, but still gives a nice 90AP
- The boxes trigger Rylais passive, slowing the enemy down and most of the time granting you at least 1-2 box hits more by doing that
- Rylais triggers Liandrys enhanced passive, so your enemy will be burned for 2.5% instead of 1.5% of his health, which makes a huge difference when playing against tanky teams.
(For example 1% of 3000HP is 30 damage more, keep in mind that this effect occurs for every hit the box makes, so by hitting the enemy 5 times, the enhanced effect of Liandrys will give you 150 Magic damage more. This is huge!)
- If you hit a nice ultimate, your enemy will not be "just" feared, but slowed by 20%. The aoe boxes will guarantee that everyone in the area will be slowed.
- It gives you a nice health boost and increases your sustainability. With Liandrys u will have almost 3000 health, but still doing tons of damage.

For the last one or two items (depending on whether you kept your ring or sold it) I want you to choose by urself, depending on the state of the game.
In my opinion these Items can all be useful in the right situation.
There are even more items you could think of building, so be creative!
Shaco is all about playstyle, so the right item for me might be not the best for you. But here are some tips on when to get which item:

- Zhonyas: The enemy is heavily AD dependend, has a oneshotcombo, a fed karthus.... I think most of you will know! It can be used aggressively too, with it you can jump into the enemy line, get your ulti out and might be able to jump out after casting your zhonyas.

- Void Staff: The enemy team is building much Magic Resist

- Rabadons: You are fed as hell and want to eliminate the enemy team. Otherwise not so useful cause of the high cost and the relatively low AP ratios on shacos spells

- Morellonomicon: The enemy team has a Soraka, Yuumi, or other health-giving support or lifestealing champs like Darius.

- Mejais: As mentioned before, only get this if the ring is stacked fully and you are sure you will not die!

- Ludens Echo: You like to blast people away with your E? Then you will love to play with Ludens Echo.

- Lich Bane: Especially if you need to carry hard, and most of the enemies are far behind you (which will not happen a lot of times) it can be handy to get a Lich Bane. It will give you a higher melee fighting potential and might give you the little extra you need to kill multiple enemies alone. If youre not fed its useless most of the time though, cause you will not be able to fight anyone without boxes/ulti anyway.

- Hextech GLP: Need even more slow? Got a heavy catch-up-team? Get this thing and freeze your enemies to death.

- Shurelyas: Might look a bit troll, but can be handy in times. Especially to get your clone deep into the enemy back line, or just to give you a supporting spell. Is the cheapest item in the list, so you might consider it if youre heavily behind and gave up the hope of dealing much damage already.
Runes
Comet is by far the strongest Keystone for this build. Each boxhit will reset the Cooldown of it by a bit. This will give you the ability to nearly spam comets, especially in late.

Nimbus Cloak will give not only you, but also your clone a nice speedup when you cast your ultimate. Its much easier to get a dive using your clone, or starting a fight, or getting yourself out of the fight after casting it. It's absolutely key in my opinion! Sadly it will be changed soon, so use it now!

I choose Transcendence for the CDR, cause the build I use only has little CDR most of the time.

Scorch will give you a nice damage boost, especially in laning phase. Both your boxes and your E activate its effect and it has a low cooldown. Key!

Sudden Impact will give you a nice damage push in most fighting scenarios (cause you are going to use your Q most of the times). It gives you both lethality and magic penetration, especially in early this will grant your autoattacks a nice damage plus. Later the magic penetration will be important too!
Sudden Impact is not a "key" rune for me though, you might choose ghost poro for more vision too, especially in higher elo.

Ultimate Hunter on the other side is absolute key in my opinion. Since the 9.20 shaco rework his ultimate became one of the strongest in game (in my opinion). If you hit at least 3 enemies with your exploding clone, your team is nearby and has a brain, every fight should be won with ease.
It has a relatively high cooldown though, getting 25% of it reduced with fully stacked ultimate hunter is a huge difference!
