[12.11] How to win EVERY games with Bel'Veth.

Hello everyone!
I am Shark of Void, I have played more than 40 games on PBE on Bel'Veth. I am currently sitting in RUSoloQ high elo (so, my english may be bad). I want to share some of my ideas with you.

I'll tell you what I like/dislike about this champion.


Like

  1. She's a jungler.

  2. Endless scales.

  3. Pentadiler.

  4. Has a large number of first clearing.

  5. The only splitpush jungler (Trundle does not count).

  6. She is from the Void!

Dislike

  1. The WORST jungler in the early game.

  2. Has an unnecessary head.

  3. VERY squishy.




PROS


+ 1v9 carry
+ Good in the late game
+ High Pentakill ⠀Potential
+ Good Sustain and ⠀Tankiness thru
+ High Mobility
+ Strong Splittpush
+ Tank Shredder
+ She's from the Void!

CONS


-Squishy
-Vulnerable against ⠀Hard CC
-Weak early game
-Relies very hard on ⠀Items and stacks
-If you fall behind it can ⠀be Hard to be useful

LETHAL TEMPO


Lethal Tempo is the best keystone on Bel'Veth. It gives her attack speed, which scales her skills, also increases the attack range, that's nice.

CONQUEROR


Conqueror is good keystone, but Lethal Tempo better than that. This gives us the best duel potential, but worse in other respects, so you can only take for early domination.

FLEET FOOTWORK


Fleet Footwork gives healing in the jungle, which allows you to have more HP when clearing. A good rune in late, as it is stuffed very quickly and gives vampirism.

The rest of the Keystones are worse than these, and I'll tell you why.



BAD KEYSTONES



SECONDARY TREES


Now that you've picked your Primary tree, it's time to select the secondary. There are multiple viable options, and it's up to you to decide what to play.



DOMINATION


SUDDEN IMPACT Increases the lethality after a dash, and we have almost endless ones, so it's an excellent choice.



EYEBALL COLLECTION Increases our damage after killing, a good rune for scaling.



INGENIOUS HUNTER Reduces Galeforce recharge, good for us.



PRECISION


TRIUMPH Restores hp after killing and gives more gold, good for teamfights, diving and scaling.



LEGEND: ALACRITY Our skills are scaled by the attack speed, and this rune gives us it => profit.



LEGEND: TENACITY If the enemies have a lot of СС, we definitely take it with unflinching .



CUT DOWN Bel'Veth has little initial HP, so this rune is almost always active. Good for diving and playing on limits.



SORCERY


NIMBUS CLOAK Helps to escape from the enemy counter jungle, helps to catch up.



TRANSCENDENCE Reduces the recharge of our skills, resets 20% of the recharge after killing, helps in team fights.



WATERWALKING Helps to fight for the crab and escape from the river.



GATHERING STORM Scales during the game, good against late game champions.



RESOLVE


BONE PLATING Saves from enemies and helps in duels.



REVITALIZE Increases the recovery of hp from royal maelstrom with little health, goes well with cut down



UNFLINCHING Increases resistance, be sure to take against CC



INSPIRATION


MAGICAL FOOTWEAR Increases our mobility, allows us not to spend money on boots => brings us closer to the main items.



FUTURE'S MARKET Allows you to get the main items earlier.



COSMIC INSIGHT Reduces the cooldown of items and summoner spells, we need it.

Other secondary runes are unplayable, or they have a better analogue.

Let's talk about summoner spells on Bel'Vet.
Reduces the damage from the enemy, increases it with an auto-attack, and we are an auto-attacker, slows down the enemy with an auto-attack, so that it is more difficult for his escape.
My main choice. It gives us a duel potential, helps us escape from the enemy and catch up with him, saves us from burst damage. The best summoner spell.
If the enemy team has one or multiple of these characters then take Cleanse: Fiddlesticks , Morgana, Ashe, Varus, Amumu, Lissandra, Lillia, Lux, Maokai, Seraphine, Sona, Twisted Fate, Zoe, Sejuani, Leona, Galio and Rammus. Keep in mind that Cleanse removes any summoner spell debuff, such as Ignite and Exhaust.
I take this ONLY against Zac. Helps to duel with him.

The following summoner spells are worse than the above and I do not recommend using them in jg.


We have 5 dashes (considering the myth), we don't need a sixth dash.
Useless summoner spell, exhaust is better. Reduces less damage than exhaust.
It helps to catch up, but exhaust copes with this goal better.

Useless summoner spell in jg.
Worse than Challenging smite in everything.
Now that you've chosen a build let's delve into the items.


START


Red Smite (emberknife) works really well vs assassin matchups and for duels since it reduces the enemy damage with a whopping 20% for 4 whole seconds while you gain an X amount of true damage (depending on your level) for 2,5 seconds after you've smited the enemy, reseting with every basic attack.
Health potion.
We put the control ward in the bushes on the top near the buff.


MYTHICS


The best mythic. Gives a dash, which allows you to make cool moves, deals magical finishing damage if the target runs away on a small HP.
We take it against tanks. This gives us a TRUE damage with every third auto attack, which allows us to deal with tanks more effectively.
We take it against burst damage. This gives us a shield that allows us to take more damage, which is also good when diving under the tower.
Gives survival and damage, something in between Immortal shieldbow and Galeforce

CORE


A great legendary item. It is bought in all games with the first item, because it gives slowdown, % damage, vampirism and attack speed, everything that Bel'veth needs
We buy this 2-3 items so that our effects when hit activated more often.
Good against all teams, but better against AD. It doesn't let us die right away, and since we are squishy, but with a lot of damage, it lets us make it.

SITUATIONAL


Against healing.

Against AP. Also take it if you need to do AP damage.

We take against AD, if you have a slot left.

This Maxing Order is the best on Bel'Vet through my build without a flash, because maximizing Q allows us not to use him.

Time to take a look at Bel'Veth skills!

PASSIVE: DEATH IN LAVENDER


After using an ability, Bel'Veth’s next 2 attacks have increased attack speed. Additionally, whenever Bel'veth takes down a large monster or champion she gains permanent bonus Attack speed in the form of Lavender stacks. Bel'Veth attacks faster than normal and does not have an attack speed cap, however, her attacks and on-hit effects deal reduced damage and she does not gain attack speed on level up.
Passive allows us to endlessly scale into a late game, but reduces the increase in our damage, which makes it unprofitable to buy items with damage. Combining auto-attacks after skills is necessary to maximize damage.

Q: VOID SURGE


Bel'Veth dashes in one of four directions, dealing damage to all enemies she passes through and applying on-hit effects. Each direction has its own unique cooldown that scales with attack speed.
Q is the main source of our mobility, in order to deal a large amount of damage, you need to hit all Q, since when hit, the recharge is reset (not directions, but skills).

Tricks

  • If you hit two enemies at the same time it will proc the unhit effect on a random enemy.
  • Enemies can stop your Q with CC.
  • Shen W and Jax E block you damage with Q. (Q Teemo can't block your Q damage).

Difficult dashes through walls having a TRUE form.


1. Click on the edge of the stone and dash to the point between the fir trees.

W: ABOVE ABD BELOW


Bel’Veth slams her tail down, dealing damage, knocking up, and slowing enemies hit. Upon hitting an enemy champion, this ability reduces Q - Void Surge’s dash cooldown in the direction of the champion hit.
W is our only source of control, if you miss it against a mobile champion, you will most likely be killed. I advise you to get them :)

Tricks

  • If you hit two enemies that each cover one Q direction you wiil reset two directions.
  • Your W will always hit the selected area, even if you have been moved. (Only death will stop animation W).

E: ROYAL MAELSTROM


Bel’Veth channels a storm of slashes around her, gaining damage reduction and increased life steal. Each slash strikes the lowest health enemy within her Maelstrom, dealing more damage the more health they are missing. The amount of slashes scales with her attack speed.
E is the most unbalanced skill in Bel'Veth. Remember that during its use we stop, so after the dive you need to get out from under the tower and press E outside its zone to get less damage from its shot. We advise you to always use it for finishing or when you have little hp, otherwise there will be no profit.

Tricks

  • Nothing but silence can cancel your E. Provocation redirect damage. When Timo blinds you, the attacks will miss the target.
  • Your E can hit invisible targets.
  • Use E + Q to reduce the damage of the tower shot and quickly leave the firing zone.

R: ENDLESS BANQUET


Passive: Every second attack against the same target deals additional True Damage, stacking infinitely. Takedowns against Epic Monsters and Champions leave behind a piece of Void Coral. Epic Monsters from the Void like Rift Herald and Baron Nashor drop special, voidier Void Coral.

Active: Bel’veth consumes a piece of Void Coral and explodes, slowing and dealing True Damage to nearby enemies based on their missing health. Upon consuming Void Coral, Bel’Veth temporarily changes into her True Form. Consuming Void Coral left by Epic Monsters from the Void (Rift Herald and Baron Nashor) grants Bel'Veth her true form for an extended duration and causes minions that die in her presence to be reborn as faithful Voidlings. Voidlings are small minions that will serve Bel’Veth by marching down the lane in which they were spawned.

True Form: When Bel’Veth unleashes her True Form, she gains increased max health, out-of-combat move speed, attack range, and total attack speed. While in her True Form, she also gains the ability to dash through walls with Q - Void Surge.
passive R allows us to destroy tanks.
NEVER take a coral under tower fire, because healing from it will not be enough to tank damage from tower shots at this time.
A special coral from the monsters of the Void gives you more time to stay in True form.

Tricks

  • If you are moved, you will still cause damage around the coral zone.
  • Nothing but death can stop the coral eating.
  • A circle appears around the target you are attacking. You can use it to determine the real one from the clone.

Mindset into the early game





Your goal for the early game is to maximize the gain of experience and gold. If there is an opportunity, ganking, counter-ganking, counter-jungling, if not, then farm the jungle and wait for these opportunities.

What's counter-gang?
This is when you get on the line with an enemy jungler and you fight 2 on 2 or 3 on 3.
How to get on the line with an enemy jungler?
You need to learn how to predict the actions of an enemy jungler, this will come with experience.

What's counter-jungle?
This is when you clean the enemy camps or at the same time kill the enemy jungler in his jungle.
When to counter-jungle?
  • If an enemy shows up on the other side of the map, you can go clean up his camps.
  • If the jungler died somewhere, you can counter-jungle.
  • If you are strong, you can go into his jungle to kill him.



Mid game

Late game




Your goals for the late game:
  1. To take the dragon's soul
  2. Have a good team fight
  3. Pick up Baron Nashor
  4. End the game

If you have 3 items, including ᠌ ᠌BotRK and ᠌ ᠌Guinsoo's Rageblade you can single-handedly kill the Baron.

Disclaimer: Opinions you will read here may not be objective. They reflect my understanding of the game. While I would never consider myself a "good" player, I think I am qualified to give a few opinions on how to get into higher Elos



  1. Disable Chat
    Unless you are Master+ and you are confident that communication can help your games, disable your chat. The chat provides little benefit and only serves as a platform for toxicity.
  2. NEVER blame anyone else but yourself for losing games
    The greatest mistake most players make. Yes, there are unwinnable games. But your focus should never be on your teammates. You make mistakes every game. Find them, fix them.
  3. Play for improvement, not for LP
    Stop thinking about your LP. Set your mind on getting better, and LP will follow.
  4. Know when to stop
    If you tilted/tired/evil stop playing and relaxing (i watch Funny Animals'Life (Not advertising!)). Forcing games won't make you better if you can't focus on your games.
