Introduction
There are those few dragons in Runeterra who have mastered the intense magical energies that course through their unique anatomies, evolving into an elusive Celestial Dragon. These powerful and enigmatic creatures spend most of their time hidden away from the lands of men. However, there are those who find themselves drawn to civilization and who take on human forms to immerse themselves in the world of humans. Occasionally, one finds itself drawn to the spirit of a human and they have relations. Sometimes, in the slimmest of odds, the union will bear fruit and that offspring will be one of the few half-dragons to have graced Runeterra. Shyvana is one such creature, born to a simple Demacian farm-girl and her Celestial Dragon father. Left to be raised by her mother, her oddities were something that couldn't be hidden from her community, though she was protected by her family. Once her family had perished in disaster, she was left alone for the first time – truly alone. Shyvana quickly became an outsider and it wasn't long before the community's fear began to put her in danger. Facing mortal danger at the business end of an angry mob, she was rescued by the traveling noble, Jarvan Lightshield. The noble was a man who strangely knew exactly what she was and took her under his wing. It wasn't long before she was offered a chance to use her natural skills in the service of Demacia, as Jarvan initiated her as one of the elite guard. Following Jarvan into the League of Legends was only natural.
Shyvana is a fierce warrior, with the blood of one of the most powerful magical predators in all creation flowing through her veins. Unlike some of her fellows, she is a subdued personality – somber, cool, and collected. However, when the moment strikes, her draconian heritage manifests and there are few that can stare her in the eyes and not feel the primal urge to flee.
“By the blood of my father, I will end you!”

I take Exhaust to make sure I pick up a kill or to help me escape
And flash because it's flash
Other spells you may want to take

Cleanse is good for making sure you are not as easily focused down CC is a major weakness of all ad carries if you can't attack you aren't doing damage or healing with life steal and you will be dead extremely quickly.

Personally i don't like taking ignite as it is easy to chase down enemies for last hits with your W but if you prefer it over exhaust take it instead

Shyvana's passive it causes her auto attacks to effect her skills.
Twin bite - reduces the cooldown by .5 seconds every attack.
Burnout - Increases duration of Burnout by 1 second per attack for a max of 6 seconds.
Flame breath - deals 20% of the ability's damage to debuffed targets.
Dragon's Descent - Attacks generate 2 fury and shyvana passively gains fury over time while in human form.

This is Shyvana's single target damage skill the first hit works with sheen and both hits can crit it scales amazing well with bonus AD and will be your main source of damage against champions. In dragon Form this becomes even more powerful gaining a cleaving effect that will hit any enemies in front of you. Auto attacking will reduce the cooldown of this ability.

This is an amazing skill both for utility and farming. the damage output on it is fairly nice as well.Use it for initiating against your lane or just for farming and zoning the enemy away from minions. after a few points in this skill it should easily destroy an entire wave of minions. Auto attack while using it to keep it going longer.

The damage on this skill is less then amazing without any ap and the damage you get from it isn't worth building for ap the main reason you will want this ability is the reduced armor effect which will let your twin bite and auto attacks do a lot more damage. and with the passive your doing 20% of the damage it does on each auto attack which is a nice bonus but i still wouldn't suggest getting ap for this skill.

Her Ultimate Transforms her into a dragon doubling her armor and magic resistance and changing the effects of her skills. This form will consume her rage bar but you can extend the duration by using auto attacks to gain extra rage.
Skill Sequence: W to move in and initiate then use E to reduce their armor then hit Q whenever it's available for damage.
Team Fights: After initiation try and push the enemy Carries out of position with your ultimate and proceed to burst them down with E W and Q auto attacking after each to ensure good use of sheen procs. Continue to use Q to deal out sizeable damage and Keeping your W up will give you the movement speed to get into position or escape if need be as well as punish any enemy who are chasing you if in Dragon form.

This is my starter item of choice for Shyvana if you find you are having problems staying alive take a doran's shield instead If you don't feel you need the extra damage or health feel free to take boots and health potions as well. it will help you move into your build faster.
Shyvana has alot of problems with CC so I pick this up to help lessen that.
I pick this up and then a vampiric scepter before the frozen mallet to help stay in lane longer.
This is a very important item for this build it gives you a slow a good bit of health and some damage very good early item to get.
Gives a lot of damage and life steal keeping you going and dishing out some serious damage.
An amazing amount of health and regen not much else to say about this one.
You will have a ton of health at this point so atma's is your go to item for the damage and the extra armor and crit doesn't hurt either.
I end my build with this unless the other team has no good AP grab Thornmail or Guardian Angel depending on team comp As should always be the case with the last item in a build. by that time you can see how the other team is built and choose accordingly.
Build 2 Carry

The attack speed and movement speed helps a lot early game especially with her passive you want to be auto attacking often. May be Replaced later with mercury treads if you need the cc reduction.
This item is great for Shyvana your useing skills a lot and the proc works with the first hit of her Twin Bite you may want to put it after infinity edge - Core item.
Great item makes your Twin Bite better with the crit and the damage boost. core item for shyvana.
All around good for Shyvana attack damage, crit, slow and attack speed All the stats benefit her in some way outside of the extra mana and it improves on the sheen effect.
Increases your attack damage further makeing you much deadlier with the life steal keeping you alive longer. an excellent item for any ad heavy champion.
Lets you use Twin Bite more often thanks to the attack speed. Also makes you crit far more. the movement speed boost is always welcome as well.
Pick this up as you will need more survivability after the enemy team watches you destroy them once or twice and decide to focus you. other options would be a thorn mail if facing an extremely ad heavy team or Force of nature/banshee's veil if they focus more towards heavy AP.
Build 3
This is The jungling build I use for Shyvana It's still a work in progress as i don't find myself jungling that often ( I often Queue with a good warwick) i'll have him help me out soon and Get the build fine tuned and add some better jungling routes.

Your route should be fairly simple Wolves first don't Use smite, Then move down to Wraiths and smite big wraith before beating down the others. Move Down and pick up small golems then recall and buy cloth armor and at least one potion then head to blue and use a health potion as soon as you hit 75% health after that clean up small golems again and take red when smite is off cooldown. Remember to keep an eye out for Possible ganks if any enemies overextend. For ganking after level 6 always try to pull up behind enemies so you can knock them forward with your dragon form. Phage will help immensely with Ganking but if you have reliable cc's in lane already feel free to pick up a sheen instead for added burst with your Q.
