Runes

Runes
Greater Quintessence of Gold: I like to take this rune because as a support you won't be getting much farm unless your AD carry recalled. It also allows faster builds.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: These runes are purely for poking in lane, they help against more tanky supports such as
Leona.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist: I grab these runes because most supports deal magic damage,so this way you just laugh at their pokes.
Greater Seal of Armor: These runes are vital, because in bot lane there's almost always an ad carry and a support, these runes protect you a little bit from the enemy ad carry.
Greater Mark of Mana: This can help sustain you and your team mate in lane if you need the extra mana. Not much else to say,but it's viable if you need it.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: You can take these if you need more late game magic resist,it also helps a little bit in lane by taking less and less damage from the enemy support if they use AP abilities.

And as a support you want to be less gold reliant, try to rely on your skillset alone if you aren't dominating lane. Yes you will be relying on
