Hello and welcome to my guide for Sion, i got so tired seeing people misuse his kit and not appreciate his potential, so hopefully after reading this guide you will stop crashing Sion's ult into the inhibitor and start pile driving their ADC into the ground. Please enjoy :)

Runes
"hey dood why don't you run full ad on Sion his ratios are gnarly dood" Well, because why take AD when Sion already has such great base stats/damages all you need is levels!

on a side note i encourage you to make a secondary rune page for Sion that features health seals and quints for those games when you really refuse to die.

Masteries
Masteries can be done however you feel to fit your play style more aggressive or more defensive Sion is like a cheap date he will do whatever and whoever he wants and there's nothing anyone can do to stop him.

i don't advise going utility with Sion as there isn't much besides movement speed and summoner spell reduction going for him in that tree.

Abilities
All of Sions abilities scale really well off of levels so you can get away with leveling pretty much whatever you want but you probably want to stick to what you're building for example; if you build AD max Q, if you build HP max W and if your team is primarily ad go ahead and level that E might as well be a team player for once in your re-life.

Spells
I run Teleport & Ghost for versatility to splitpush or to start a fight with teleport but if you feel you need to win lane flash and ignite is pretty good at that.

Sion is very versatile but he functions best with things to enable him to shove waves quickly and allow him to take a beating while his team catches up to him, My motto is build items as you need it don't be that guy that only got tanky items so you cannot kill someone or be that OTHER guy who gets only damage and proceeds to die repeatedly.

(Please note that Sions passive applies onhit effects eg;Frozen mallet, Hydra, Wits end, CRITS!!!)

What's Special about Sion? W.O.W. did you seriously just ask that? WELL for starters EVERYTHING IN HIS KIT WAVE CLEARS Q can be charged up to one shot waves when maxed and his E can be shot through every minion to damage them and his W compliments both Q and E to finish off and stragglers AND MAN HIS ULT IS ON SUCH A LOW COOLDOWN MAX LEVEL YOU MIGHT AS WELL FARM WITH IT <-- that was a joke but seriously? try it annihilate those creeps.

Sion plays for himself if he ganks a lane he just wants to get some gold forget teamwork
there is no teamwork in "Sion is murdering our entire team please help us"

as for strategy as soon as you hit level 6 as Sion shove your wave up to the enemies tower recall and proceed to gank through lane *remember to warn your laners in advanced* and don't forget if you miss your ult make sure to cancel it, nothing is more embarassing that doing the walk of shame out of their towers and for the love of god make sure you don't hit the inhibitor

as for team fighting doesn't matter if you are squishy or tanky most champs after dying are done cant do no more once Sions dead? jump right back up AND FINISH THE JOB!

(Serious section ya'll, your goal as Sion is to go for their backline and preoccupy them the best of your ability and at the same time provide some peel for your carries)

Sions Easiest combo is to launch minions with his E to slow his enemies with it and then start his W walk up and lead his Q now kiddies don't forget to release your Q early if they are going to walk out of it

with your death passive as Sion you can pull of really clutch plays so don't forget to abuse it and don't worry its fine to focus the tank feel free to do so

also! Sions ult makes him completely immune to cc so Don't be afraid to run away with it or even briefly use it to avoid cc

Jungling will be for another day but for now keep in mind for toplane that you own golems take em they're yours you have a Yi jungle? pff he can go take baron if he wants the creepscore.

Sion is a very fun champion and i highly recommend him
