Hi! im TwentyZero , player of LAS server , and today i bring you the most advance guide in terms of How to Properly build and use Vel'Koz for farming and poking.

Lets start.

First, im going to tell you WHY you level up to level 3 early on.
After you reach level 5 and you have 3 levels on , casting it over the caster minions adding the spell (Your E) lets you farm all them pretty easily and if you last hit the melee minions with your auto atacks , you can manage the minion wave holding yours with the enemy's melee minions. I'll show you with a couple of videos :

Pro Tip: if you kill a minion with it will restore you 50% of the mana cost of the ability , so if you land it on 2 minions, 100% of the mana will be refound. This doesnt apply if you hit 3 minions, it wont give you mana.

This technic Lets you Farm Properly Putting all the points on W lets you farm really good but its only relaible for fighting if you can hit the SECOND part of the ability and if you put all the points in your Q it will be Harder for farming caster minions but good for poking.

Let's talk about Plasma Fission

This your poking ability ,the main thing with it is that you have High damage and long range with an unpredictable second cast.
This will let you reach longer ranges and catch off guard many enemies!
When you catch the hand of it, you can use your imagination to split you ability in different angles hitting your enemy from any direction.
Pro Tips:

• Some times you can Aim to the left or to the right side of the enemy champ , so the he doesnt know if you are going to split it early on or it will split automatically when it reaches it maximum range.
• If you want to hit some one in a very tricky way , try to shoot in a perpendicular line if you use the mid lane as you horizontal axis. So when it split you can reach places your enemy wont think you can.
• If the midlane is your horizontal axis, draw an imaginary 45º and cast it there to reach the maximum range. With a 65º angle you will reach the same position as the max horizontal range, use it at your advantage.
  
• Use the Glacial build , or the Glp 800 with twin shadows to land your combos and Q's more easily .

Combos

Is there any combo? Yes! there is, also the W its made for kitting , so thats let you walk arround your enemy while landing all your abilities.
First, before starting, i want to make something clear:
The only ability that lets you scape its your E , as we have seen before, its really usefull for farming, but its crucial for killing a bad positioned enemy and to increase or create a gap between you and your enemy. Use it for farming, killing, applying CC and scaping, watch the cold down, when you get used to it , you will know When its the time to use it.

Continuing with the combos, this is the fastest way to apply your passive Organic Deconstruction :

• Your W (Both parts) + your Q
• Your W at the same time with your E , this will Activate your passive really fast.
• Full combo , Q (The slow of the ability makes it easy to land all the other abilities) + W + E
• Any Ability + R LIFE FORM DISINTEGRATION RAY

Pro Tips:

• The combo W+E+R use it if the enemy its an Ap mage/ADC and has less or 50% hp at the moment you reach level 6 , Its GUARANTEED KILL
• The W+E combo use it to trade between minions when the enemy its going to last hit, it makes it really difficult to evade.
• Use any Q + Something combo if you really know that Plasma Fission is not going to be interrupted by any minion or you know that the splited part will hit him anyways.
• Play with the minions, Use your Q to last hit minions and while also hitting your enemy
• Apply your combos behind walls using trinkets , or while waiting in bushes. This is a very nasty but really effective way to desintegrate enemies.
• Roam to the bot lane if you have Twin shadows/GLP 800 /Glacial augment , Its a Secure Desintegration
• Roam top , you will easily kill Tanks and bruiser becouse of your TRUE damage

Well the answer its simple: Becouse the main source of damage of Vel'koz its his passive.
This means that the fastest and more frecuently you apply it, more TRUE damage you will provoque.
BUY RAW AP
You will buy enough magic penetration with morello or/and sorcerer's shoes.
Use Liandry for tanks!
Buy a Void Staff if your enemies buy too much magic resistance
