Champion Build Guide

Support Ivern + Smite - Not troll, i promise!

By lilFobia
WHY?
Cause it’s funny and unexpected!
I advise you /mute all at the beginning of the game, the rage is real!
Also, I’d not try this on ranked, it’s just a funny offmeta play style for normal games.

STRATEGY:
Our main focus on this game isn’t be like a Janna and shield your ADcarry, is to ‘atrapalhar’ the game in our favor.
As you know, Ivern can’t fight with the jungle’s monsters, so he can’t help with leach. So you’ll go straight to the enemy’s top buff, place a ward to check if he’s starting there or on the botside. If he isn’t there, as soon as the buff spawns you’ll Q though the wall, prepare and smite it. If he’s there, you’ll go then to his botlane buff, and do the same. On both cases, after this you need to be as soon as possible with your ADcarry at the botlane to protect him and get xp.

I advice you to start with a trinket, and place it on the enemy’s jungle to track him, instead of the two pots. Our cookies will help us with mana and hp. Also, farming the camp will spend some of your mana and hp as well, but one of them will be replaced with the buff, red or blue. If you get the blue buff, you can spam your skills on lane, if red, you can AA poke and make small trades as you’ll burn them (???) and regenerate your life.
Our main goal now is to push the lane, our support item will help us on this, specially at the cannons. If the enemy is behind tower you have time to roam, smite scrab or the enemy’s jungle over and over and be back to help your ADC. At level 5 he also can get the red/blue buff with you after you smite the camp, and them “gank” your own lane at level 6 with Daisy as you’ll be at level 6 before them. Then you two can fight the dragon with her tankiness and your smite. While in lane, remember to change your spells to whatever is usefull at the time. You should be always aware of the enemy’s jungler all the time, tracking his patches and avoiding him.

HOW ARE YOU HELPING YOUR TEAM THEN?
If everything goes well, enemy’s jungler will get behind in gold and xp compared to your jungler. This way you’re:
1- Getting more gold than the enemy’s support (and also jungler)
2-Getting more xp and being levels ahead with camps
3- Getting and also giving you ADC the red or blue buff without taking your’s from your jungler
4- Getting complete vision of the river as your jungler can do the top and you smite the bot.
5- Letting enemy’s jungler behind, making it hard for him to gank lanes and take dragons/herald.
6- Helping your hole team as the enemy’s ganks won’t be so effective, and also taking dragon/herald
7- Also shielding your carry and using the spellbook to change spells to heal, exhaust, clarify, maybe even gank toplane with teleport.

RUNES:
Spellbook is the main reason why this strategy works. If you try anything else you’ll be stuck with a useless smite most part of the game. Free boots will help you buy the other items even faster, as you’re farming double gold and not paying for them. Also it ‘buffs’ your boots, making them even faster. Cookies will help your sustain on lane, as you’ll spend mana and hp farming the jungle at the beginning. 5% CDR will get you to 45% instead of 40%. You can keep shielding your team mates (or yourself) constantly, at the time it ends you already have another one.
Secondary tree is to help you roaming, invading and going back to lane with more movespeed at the river and also buffing even more your movespeed (which will be already high). We could trade this to the green three and improve our shields, but this would let us more susceptible to die on the invades as we have a stronguer shield to survive more but can’t get out of there soon. Also with more MS lategame you can travel the map to help your team mates and feel like an ambulance with shields, slows, ****ups and spells.

ABILITIES SEQUENCE
The first point on Q is mainly to go through the wall to steal the buff, and also can help you get soon to the botlane’s buff if you find the enemy’s jungler is starting at the topside. Also you’ll get level 2 before your ad and the enemy’s botlane, so you’ll have your shield just in time. Third point will go to the brush, you can place them behind you on the lane, so if you get ganked or the enemy’s botlane go too aggressive you can hide there and “evitar” auto attacks, and confuse them making them afraid of trying to enter the brush. You can also leave them to your ad be safe when you go to invade and steal a camp.
Then you’ll put all the points on your E, it’s your main ability as it not only provides your carry the shield but also slows any near enemy too. You’ll probably get level 6 before your oponents, so you can try to get it on as enemy’s camp and get back with a unexpected Daisy behind them, making them waste at least a flash. You’ll max Q second. Before level 6 try not to waste much mana poking with it, unless you can do a nice trade, your jungler is ganking or you need to desingage. After level 6 you can use it to make Daisy instant “fly” to the enemy, and then slow him with E on her. At mid/late game your Q can be usefull not only to travel the map or stun the enemies, but also help your team get in range to AA the enemies by just clicking on the champ you landed the skill.
You’ll max your W last. It’s main usage is to empower your auto attacks when inside of it’s brushes, but you can also land it on an ally’s being chased by a ranged AA based champ as it looses vision of him. You can also use it inside a brush to check if there’s someone there as like a Zyra “semente”, and also place many of them behind a teamfight so your team can get into and out of it making harder to the enemies land CCs, skills shots, AAs and loose vision of your current hp or “skill sendo carregada”.
ITEMIZATION:
You’ll need to adapt this every single game, but some items are core here.

CORE
1- Support item
I prefer the xxxx as you can push lane easier, invade enemy’s jungle and come back to push again. You won't be poking a lot to take the xxx item.
2- TRINKETS!
You’ll need many of them, always keep track of the enemy’s jungler. As soon as you complete the support’s mission, change to sweeping lenses and clean their wards every time you invade.
3- xxx boots
You’ll need to constantly move from the lane to jungle and back to lane, move speed is crucial here. Those boots also help as you only loose it’s effect while in combat, but you don’t fight to the camps, so it keep working all over the route.
3- Twin shadows
I consider it a core for some reasons. First, you’ll need move speed as said before, and it gives you X?%. It also reduce your cooldown in 10%, so faster shields. It brings a nice amount of AP, X%, making our shield stronguer (and so our AA when inside a brush). At the most important: it’s active. You can use it most of the times when you invade to guarantee enemy’s jungler isn’t coming and also protect yourself if botlane our midlaner see you on a ward and come to stop you, slowing them and giving yourself time to escape.

FINISHING THE BUILD
1- Snowball
This is my favorite build, as you get even more move speed with lich bane, and it empowers your AA after using abilities. Keep shielding yourself and auto attacking the enemy inside brushes and, with rabadon, you can win some 1x1. If not, just Twin Shadow it and you have enough movespeed to get away with ‘item tipo rabadon’.
2- Peel
When everything goes wrong I run to this. If they keep trying to catch you on their jungle and you can never steal the camps, you need to give the strategy up and peel your carry with shields as a Janna would do. You can also do this build if you feel more safe giving peel to your team mates instead of fighting, of if your carrie got so fed that you just need to help him carry the game.
3- Let Daisy work
This is a funny way to play when not that behind but also not that ahead. With Liandry daisy’s constant damage will be increasing, and you can also keep the enemy near her with your shield, as it slows too. Keep out of the enemy’s range, just making daisy follow him, slow and knock up. If the enemy catch you, Zhonya! Daisy will keep track of the enemy she was following, and still slow them even without your shield, as rylai procs on her attacks. Using this with twin shadows and spells like exhaust can be very unexpected and confuse enemies, that will try to catch you till it dies to Daisy.

CONCLUSION
This is my first guide ever, and English isn’t my main language, my apologies if there’s some mistakes or it’s hard to understand something. I’m also accepting tips on how to improve the technic, as I’m just a silver/gold elo boy trying to find strange ways to have fun in normal games.
I feel this is a way to try to win the game forcing your team to be ahead and their to be behind independent of getting kills, by securing levels, objectives, gold and unexpected plays causing confusion.
If they are smart enough this can be so easy to counter, so just try to do it for fun and don’t forget to /mute all before the game starts or people will rage you a lot.
I hope you enjoy this play style as much as I, feel free to comment if you tried and how was your game! 
