Champion Build Guide
"Why are you trolling?"
Honestly, I don't know. I came back to League in season 10, and was a top lane main (hur dur Garen/Urgot main), and as I got back into the swing of things, I tried out some supports as supports. Yuumi being one of them. Instantly fell in love, what a fun champ, relying on someone else to do everything macrowise is such a fun feeling. And getting blamed for them dying when your E costs your entire mana pool. So I figured I would take Yuumi to the top lane. With inspiration from Tilterella, I've been grinding Yuumi top with some success and have cracked the code on how to do it. Obviously I really haven't and am still trying out different builds and runes to see what works best against what champs in what matchups.
How to play Yuumi Top
If you take a look at my matchup guides, I organized them by how much of a threat they pose in either the top lane or their specific lane. As I experience them I will be adding more information. 99% of the time you aren't going to easily solo kill your lane, so how do you play without inting or just giving up all of the cs. What I feel is the best way so far is to try and poke the enemy as much as possible to try and deny them cs, as Yuumi has pretty busted sustain from her passive which is only getting buffed come patch 10.15. I've been able to hold champs to less than 100 cs in a 38-minute game, but obviously I barely got more than 100, so you really are trying make the game a 4v4 until you go hop on the carry and keep them alive. Really I would only recommend this in draft and if you can play with someone, ideally the jungle, then you can just set up kills to feed your own team.
