She can parry your E very easily and will win basically every trade. Build Iceborn and Ninja tabis straight away.
Extremely hard to lane against. He has arguably the worst ult in the game for you to steal so you've basically got no ult against him. You win trades if all your CD's are up but after they go down you need to run away as he'll just kill you. Play safe early and ask for ganks. Go Iceborn if he's killing you a lot.
Very strong early which is your counter. Play safe behind your wave and farm with Q. If you e's towards you e away and maybe try and trade with him if he doesn't have rage. Build Iceborn first here if you're hard losing.
Pre level 6 you can win fights if you stay in your minion back line and make her use CD's to get to you. This is a skill matchup However once she reaches level 6 she can just all in and one shot you. Go Iceborn if you die repeatedly
Dodge his Q with your E and you'll win the trade. Make sure to back out after your CD's as his Q will be back up by then.
You can win fights if you don't eat all of his Q. Poke him down with your Q and trade with him when your CD's are up and run back out.
Champion Build Guide
Most people build Sylas full AP but I believe his true potentiall comes out as an AP Bruiser. His kit supports prolonged fights and so you want the tank to survive them, added with your W heal you can be very annoying and still deal damage if you play it right.
Here is my stream if you wish to watch: http://twitch.tv/vonhoons/
+ Very versitile
+ Good late game
+ The ability to steal ultimates
+ Amzazing wave clear
+ Good sustain
The main gimic with Sylas is his ability to steal ultimates. So depending on the enemy team, you can have VERY strong ultimates on him that compliment his kit perfectly. He can get a lot of damage out if you space his abilities with his auto enhanced passive while remaining tanky due to the build and his keystone. His wave clear is not really effected by this build, after your first item you can still clear the caster minions with a Q and enhanced auto.
- Potentially bad ultimate
- Can be squishy (Less so with the bruiser build)
- Abiltiies mana heavy early
Some of Sylas' cons are dampened with the Bruiser build such as being squishy however, there's still drawbacks that you should know. You'll still be more squishy than most bruisers top lane but your sustain should help balance that back up. However, the enemy team's comp could have ultimates that are potentially very bad and useless on you. Such as Yasou's ult.
