Pros/Cons

Here are my favorite burst assassin's pros and cons



Pros!:
Can burst squishies.HARD.
Fairly high mobility with ultimate
Good ganker
Great anti-ranged champion.





Cons:
Squishy early game
Fairly item reliant
heavily combo based
only a squishy nuker, not a great fighter against everyone else

Runes

For Talon, i take fairly standard runes.

Marks(Reds):i take greater mark of desolation for the armor penetration, like any other AD champion

Seals(Yellows):i take Greater Seal of Armor for armor/durability since he lacks some laning presence early game

Glyphs(Blues):i take Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction for Talon so that i can keep my combos clan and spammable. and its makes Shadow Assault's cooldown amazingly low.

Abilities

mercy Talon deals 10% more damage with his basic attacks to any target that is slowed, stunned, immobilized, or suppressed. Talon's fairly handy passive since he has 2 CC's in his burst arsenal. Plus it makes Frozen Mallet a must buy for Talon

Talon's next basic attack deals an additional physical damage. If the target is a champion, they will bleed, taking additional physical damage over a period of time and revealing their location for the duration.
Talon's next basic attack deals an additional 30/60/90/120/150 (+ ) physical damage. If the target is a champion, the target will bleed for 18/36/54/72/90 (+ ) physical damage over 6 seconds, revealing their location for the duration. Talon's #3 in his burst combo. i'll tell you why this works while i explain Rake and cutthroat

Talon sends out a volley of daggers that then return back to him, dealing physical damage every time it passes through an enemy. Additionally the enemy is slowed for a short duration.
Talon sends out a volley of daggers that then return back to him, dealing 30/55/80/105/130 (+ ) physical damage every time it passes through an enemy. Additionally the enemy is slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds.Talon's #2 in his burst combo.. This will cause Noxian Diplomacy to deal 10% extra damage to your designated target.

cutthroat Talon instantly appears behind his target, silencing them and amplifying his damage against that target.
Talon instantly appears behind his target, silencing them for 1 second and amplifying Talon's damage against the target by 3/6/9/12/15% for 3 seconds. Talon's first ability to start your burst combo. Since it gives a damage amplification, it will cause Rake to deal mad damage to your squishy target(hehe. >:D).

Talon disperses a ring of blades and enters stealth while gaining additional Movement Speed. When Talon emerges from stealth, the blades converge on his location. Every time a blade passes through an enemy, they receive physical damage.
Talon disperses a ring of blades and gains stealth for up to 2.5 seconds, gaining 40% Movement Speed. When Talon emerges from stealth, the blades converge on his location. Every time a blade passes through an enemy, they receive 120/190/260 (+ ) physical damage. Talon's escape tactic and final ability to burst that a-hole in lane.
This ability gives a great amount of movement speed, especially with an active Youmuu's Ghostblade, once that's active, you can kite, kill an enemy, or RUN LIKE HELL FROM THAT Alistar!!

Summoner Spells

Ahh yes, Summoner Spells. here's my two choices for summoner spells


Ghost:
I take Ghost for absolutely insane movement speed with Youmuu's Ghostblade's active and Shadow Assault for a mad escape or and unexpected chase onto that pesky Vayne.


Ignite:
i take Ignite on almost ALL my champions EXCEPT Olaf, which a guide will be coming for him soon. Ignite is good to grab a kill when your abilities are on Cooldown and to KS the **** out of your team. (:3) but hell, i kill is a kill in a game like League.

Skill Sequence

Always max Rake first for the most early damage output and burst damage for your combo.
Take Noxian Diplomacy second and cutthroat] last. This will give you the most early game dominance and early nuking potential since [[rake will cause a slow and Noxian Diplomacy is an auto-attack buff, so it will trigger mercy due to the slow off of Rake


Talon's skills have a specific order. which i will explain here

You must start with cutthroat

into Rake

then an immediate Noxian Diplomacy

then end the enemy's killing spree with Shadow Assault

THEN: PROFIT!!!!! :D then you can go farm the free revenue(minions) and rush your Trinity Force! :D

Team fights as Talon

i know. judging by what i said. Talon in a teamfight sounds like fresh meat for the enemy Dr. Mundo, but wait. Nuke the enemy squishy and pop Shadow Assault to maneuver around to maximize the damage on a specific champion, say Sion for example. Then not only can you kite the **** out of anyone and GET YOUR *** OUT OF THERE, but, you can also chase a low life champion for some extra gold.

Items

Awesome, now to my favorite part to explain. ITEMS!

alright. i start my build like Phreak would, i start with a Doran's Shield for durability and health regen. to keep me in lane longer. then i start to rush my Mercury's Treads. No matter what, i always take Mercury's Treads for the MR and for the Tenacity so that Talon can nuke squishies with out taking a Cryptic Gaze to the face for too long.

Next you'll want an Avarice Blade for the extra gold income and turn it into a Youmuu's Ghostblade later on in the game.

Next comes a Phage will you'll turn into a Frozen Mallet. You'll want your Trinity Force later in the game.

Now you'll be doing your best for Bloodthirster for some extra damage and laning sustain, but by this time, you'll just have Bloodthirster for extra damage, not prioritizing the lifesteal.

Now this is your choice. You can choose to buy a Sheen and build your Trinity Force, or if the team is destroying you with CC's, you can get a Quicksilver Sash to get out of Galio's Idol of Durand or Rammus' puncturing taunt. And we all know the amazingness of a Trinity Force on Talon, Nasus, and of course Leona. It will just be E.N.D.G.A.M.E. for the enemy

Summary

Well guys. Let's wrap this up., Talon burst squishies like i play League (which is pretty hard)
and he is a great choice to nuke that solo mid Caitlyn or Veigar in solo mid and makes a good solo top fighter and an amazing choice in general.
