Introduction

Hi, this is my third guide on MobaFire. This time I'll be showing you how to play the most mobile support in the game, Tank-Leblanc. This build is by no means the best build, nor is it used often. It is just very fun, and when you get ahead, you feel unstoppable. TankBlanc's main goal in a game is to kill squishies with her high base damages, peel off tanks and assasins with her extremely short cooldown chains, and all-in-all be a nuisance to the other team, zipping around the map, taking hardly no damage. Please comment if you have any questions or you noticed something obviously wrong with my guide. Thanks.

Summary

This build is mostly for carrying your useless adc around for the early portion of the game, and then protecting their tiny health bars for the rest. It is also for picking off enemies at any point of the game with your insane mobility, and because you built tanky, the ability to dive turrets with ease. None of the runes in the new season 8 seem like they fit perfectly, but LeBlanc will always be annoying no matter what.

Pros/Cons

Pros
High base damages, even when building tanky
Highest consistent mobility in the game
Snare on a 5 second cooldown, which can be casted twice every 25 seconds
Still puts pressure on the map with clones, clones also act as global blue trinkets

Cons
ADC will think you're trolling most of the time
Pretty useless as a support until you get some tank items (too squishy)
Can't do much damage to tanks if alone, can only cc them

Summoner Spells

Exhaust

One of the more common support spells. Useful for additional peel for your adc or catching champions out.

Flash

Always take flash, its your mana-less get out jail free card.

Ignite

Only take Ignite if you plan on coordinating an all in with your adc at level 2. If that is the case, start Distortion and then Ethereal Chains.

Runes Reforged

Phase Rush

Phase Rush seems to be the best rune for Tankblanc, solely for the tenacity boost. The longer tankblanc survives, the more she can both other people.

The Ultimate Hat

With just a few casts of LeBlanc's ultimate, (which has a very short cd), you'll have 15% additional cdr for your ultimate, meaning you can double Ethereal Chains more often.

Celerity

Tankblanc won't be getting many kills, thankfully for the stacking runes, you only need assists. Celerity gives LeBlanc some much needed speed to roam without wasting her mana on Distortion.

Waterwalking

Similar to Celerity, this rune is taken to maximize your speed so you can be in every lane, all the time.

Triumph

Triumph may be one of the best runes for a tank. In a team fight, you can realistically get at least half of your health returned to you in the middle of the fight. Restoring her health means LeBlanc can cc more.

Legend: Tenacity

Just like everything in this kit, LeBlanc has to maximize speed, tankiness, and tenacity. LeBlanc is already one of the most slippery champions, and more tenacity helps her slip away from even the hardest of crowd controls.

Starting Items

Spellthief's Edge

Normal support item for AP supports. Easy to get the money proc off with your q. Spellthief's also comes with bandit now with the new season.

Refillable Potion

I usually take Refillable Potion over Health Potion because I'm greedy and don't want to spend more money on potions. Refillable Potions are more cost efficient. The faster you get to your tanky items the better.

Core Items

Eye of the Watchers

Normal Sightstone upgrade so your team won't flame you for not buying wards. Gives you a little bit of AP and 10% CDR.

Mercury's Treads

Unless the enemy team has no cc of any sort, buy Mercury's Treads. TankBlanc cannot afford to get caught by any long term cc, so Mercury's Treads will help her in staying slippery.

Frozen Heart

This item is TankBlanc's main mana item, and is very important to her kit, as it also provides high amounts of armor and 20% CDR.

Spirit Visage

This item is TankBlanc's main magic resist item. It gives a good amount of health, a nice healing passive, and caps out her CDR.

Tips and Tricks

You can use LeBlanc's clone from Mimic as a global blue trinket.

Mimic's clone can apply Frozen Heart's or Sunfire Aegis's passive even when the real you isn't there, giving you a good way to snag assists from across the map.

A good way to stop anyone from jumping on your back line is the Exhaust into Ethereal Chains into Mimic Ethereal Chains. It gives your back line at least 5 seconds to prepare.
