Hi everyone, this is a small guide of how I play Ekko as jungler.
Hi guys, as I said this is my guide of how I play Ekko in jungle but don't lose time and start with a little look at his skills!
Z-Drive Resonance
First of all, his passive description from wiki: Ekko's Zero-Drive charges his spells and attacks with temporal energy. The third hit deals bonus damage and, if the target is a champion, Ekko gains accelerated movement speed.
Tips: You can't abuse it, it has a cooldown to activate it again on the same enemy, be sure to use it to deal massive damage on the enemy target, a fast way to trigger Ekko's passive Z-Drive Resonance is to hit Q, one auto-attack and E.
Timewinder
Ekko's Timewinder wiki description: Ekko throws a temporal grenade that expands into a time-distortion field upon hitting an enemy champion, slowing and damaging anyone caught inside. After a delay, the grenade rewinds back to Ekko, dealing damage on its return.
Tips: This spell is much strong to poke enemies and slow them a lot (make sure to hit them with Timewinder when they're following you so you can escape much more easily). It gives 2 hits and stacks a Z-Drive Resonance for each time Timewinder hits.
Parallel Convergence
Ekko's Parallel Convergence wiki description: Ekko splits the timeline, creating an anomaly after a few seconds that slows enemies caught inside. If Ekko enters the anomaly, he gains shielding and triggers a detonation, stunning enemies by suspending them in time.
NOTICE:
Passive: Ekko's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage to enemies under 30% health equal to 3% (+[3% Ability Power]%) of their missing health. Deals a minimum of 15 damage, and a maximum of 150 damage vs. minions and monsters.
Tips: Ekko's Parallel Convergence counts really a lot in your engages and ganks. Be sure to use it behind the enemy you're ganking and rush into it, usually the enemy turns back and run to his tower to get safe from you and this is why you should use Parallel Convergence behind him. There's the possibility that he does not go in the direction you use your W but it's kinda difficult. The shield Parallel Convergence is strong enough to let you go under the turrets and tank a hit or some spells.
Phase Dive
Ekko's Phase Dive wiki description: Ekko rolls evasively while charging up his Z-Drive. His next attack deals bonus damage and warps reality, teleporting him to his target.
Tips: Phase Dive is a good move to surpass little walls like the one at the Baron pit, the one ot the drake arena, and many more. You can also "jump" through corners. Use it in combo with Parallel Convergence, teleport yourself on the enemy in Parallel Convergence and trigger it, stunning everything what's inside. Or use it on a monster, minion or flower to escape from the enemy, it also gives you a little little "sprint" while running away. A good tactic to reach a distant enemy is: Flash followed by Phase Dive./u]
Chronobreak
Ekko's Chronobreak wiki description: Ekko shatters his timeline, becoming untargetable and rewinding to a more favorable point in time. He returns to whenever he was a few seconds ago, and heals for a percentage of the damage received in that duration. Enemies near his arrival zone take massive damage.
NOTICE:
Ekko turns back time, going briefly untargetable and invulnerable. He teleports to where he was 4 seconds ago and deals 150/300/450 (+150% Ability Power) magic damage to nearby enemies on arrival. Additionally, Ekko heals for 100/150/200 (+60% Ability Power), increased by 3% for each 1% of his health lost over the last 4 seconds.
Tips: Chronobreak Is one of the best skills to survive, to do an engage and killing someone as one while the enemies are more than you, you can kill someone who's following you with low HP, you can use this while you're in fight to deal a MASSIVE damage to everything is near to you
A look into Ekko's summoner spells.
Unlocked at lvl 12, teleports your champion a short distance toward your cursor's location. Flash is a must have in your summoner spells.
Unlocked at level 3, Smite deals 390-1000 true damage (depending on champion level) to target epic, large, or medium monster or enemy minion. Restores Health based on your maximum life when used against monsters. In this case you can choose the red one or the blue one, the red version, when used on an enemy champ, your basic attacks deal bonus true damage over 3 seconds, and their damage to you is reduced by 20%. The blue version dealing reduced true damage and stealing 20% Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
Let's pass to Ekko's Domination runes.
Electrocute
Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Applying 3 stacks to a target within a 3 second period causes them to be struck by lightning, dealing them 30 − 180 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 25% AP) Adaptive damage.
Tips: The new Electrocute, with nerfed damage and reduced cooldown aswell (since also the new Dark Harvest have been nerfed, I prefer Electrocute) is good because of the 3 hit stack, like as Ekko's Z-Drive Resonance, you can also gank much times and deal a lot of dmg without wait for enemies low life like Dark Harvest do.
Sudden Impact
Going in combat by affecting an enemy champion within 3 seconds of using a dash, blink, teleport, or exiting from invisibility or camouflage, grants 7 Lethality (4.36 − 7 based on level) and 6 Magic Penetration for the next 5 seconds. Sudden Impact works very good with Ekko engages!
Eyeball Collection
Collect 2 Eyeballs from champion kills and 1 Eyeball from champion assists and ward takedowns, up to 20. Gain 0.6 bonus Attack Damage or 1 Ability Power (Adaptive) per Eyeball, up to 12 bonus Attack Damage or 20 Ability Power. Eyeball Collection has a 10 second assist timer.
If you prefer to ward you can choose the other options but personally, since Ekko deals a lot of damage, i prefer this to increase it more.
Ravenous Hunter
Heal for 1.5% (+ 2.5% per Bounty Hunter stack) of the damage dealt by your abilities, on-hit effects and items, up to 14% at 5 stacks. Ravenous Hunter gives Ekko a great sustain with his skills.
Tips: It works with your Timewinder hits!
Check Ekko's jungle Sorcery runes.
Absolute Focus
Gain 3 − 24 (based on level) bonus Attack Damage or 5 − 40 (based on level) Ability Power (Adaptive) while above 70% of your maximum health. Really good sinergy since you can remain with a lot of HP thanks to Parallel Convergence, Ravenous Hunter, your jungle lifesteal and Chronobreak after you used it.
Gathering Storm
Gain increasing Adaptive Force every 10 minutes that grants a total 0 / 4.8 / 14.4 / 28.8 / 48 / ∞ (based on minutes) bonus Attack Damage or 0 / 8 / 24 / 48 / 80 / ∞ (based on minutes) Ability Power (Adaptive) Gathering Storm gives Ekko a very very high late game damage, be sure to take it.
