Shen is very good tank and support, he got much sustain much base armor, health and he can help team in teamfights. His ultimate is to early ganks after lvl 6.

Blade of the ruined king is really good item for Shen beacouse his cooldown on passive is reduced by 1 sec. every basic attack, so you can deal more damage. And BOTRK's active deal damage and attack speed for 3 sec.


Sunfire cape is too offensive item beacause he deal any damage to nearby enemys this help you a lot cuz u must be first in teamfight. Health in this item increase your healing from target with Vorpal Blade.

Defensive

Randuin's Omen is item who has much Health and Armor. But the main thing is active. This active slow nearby enemys by 35% for 2 sec. + 1 sec. every 100 armor and magic resist.


It has Health and Magic Resist and Spirit visage's passive increas self healing effect life steal or spelwamp so you can survive in teamfights.

Shen's runes may be defensive beacause his damage is high to when he doesn't have
damage or ability power. So in early game he deal much damage and he can rest on lane

Masteries must be defensive beacouse in early game is hard and his damage is good.
