Introduction

Hi! This guide has helped me get into challenger very easily and just about anyone can play using this build! I have shown it to my friends and it has basically given them free elo because people can not deal with your swag.

Runes

For red runes I like to get hybrid pen because pen items in game are quite expensive and their options are limited. Blue and yellows are pretty standard with armor yellows and scaling magic resist blues. My quints are AP because the majority of skarners skills scale off of ap and ap is an expensive stat in game.

Masteries

My masteries are pretty self explanatory. I like to get both pens in the offence tree to deal more damage and getting cdr so I can spam skarner's skills that are already on such a low cooldown. I prefer to go into the defense tree with my 9 other points to be more tanky, but you can go into mana regen in the utility tree if you like.

Items

OFFENSIVE

is ideal for Skarner because it gives the suitability and damage that Skarner wants plus a very good active to help you stick to your enemies

is REQUIRED for Skarner! This item makes Skarner deals massive damage because he can abuse the sheen proc and the active lets him stay on his enemies forever!

gives Skarner the attack speed he needs to reset his cooldowns with his amazing passive energize

Other items you build depend on the type of game you are playing. You can build more AP with or more attack speed and ad with .

DEFENSIVE

If the enemy team has a lot of fed AP champions build your trusty !! Not only will this give you cooldown reduction and magic resist, but this will make you heal EVEN MORE!!!!

If the enemy's ADC is just shredding through you but your self a gives you tons of armor AND makes them hurt them selves.

If there is an equal amount of AP and AD on the enemy team or you just feel like you are dying too much buy a two lives for the price of one extra life!

HEY YOU! YEA SUMMONER! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHILE SKARNER DOES ALL THE WORK HUH?

Ignite is great if you're lane partner is someone with a lot of sustain or if you want to secure a kill.
An alternate to ignite is Teleport. Teleport will let you back and be back to lane instantly fresh and new to bully your lane partner.
Flash is required to get clutch Impales.
