Introduction
Wait and see who you are facing before you choose what you are going to unlock first! Consider the following: Who are you facing!?
Invisible text! Use this order If you are facing a ranged opponent mid. You will see this more often than seeing a melee opponent.

When using Fizz it is recommended by most (including me) to use Flash & Ignite. These are very good to use and don't require too much skill. Flash is great to escape from enemy champs, to get away from a turret after turret diving, & to catch up to enemy opponents and get that final hit with Seastone Trident. Ignite is also a great tool in finalizing a kill. Seastone Trident's passive inflicts damage over 3 seconds after you hit them and adding this to that passive just puts the frosting on the cake.
Starting out with Amplifying Tome and a Health Potion is good to start off aggressive mid lane. Then get a Sapphire Crystal to make a Sheen as soon as possible, then a Blasting Wand, & create a Lich Bane. The Lich Bane is very effective to start off with using FIZZ not only does it give him
mana
, AP, & Movement Speed , but its Unique passive: Spellblade comes in very hand after using his abilities. Next Getting a Rabadon's Deathcap is important to start doing a lot more damage. Then get a Zhonya's Hourglass to help with incoming damage, but mostly for the +120 ap and its Unique active: Stasis to help avoid other champs abilities and to help wait for your ability Playful / Trickster to cooldown. The add some speed with Sorcerer's Shoes and also so magic penetration. Then add some more ability power for complete domination with Deathfire Grasp and cooldown reduction. To top off this solid build add some health (to help avoid being so squishy and focused on) Warmog's Armor.
Pros:
Fizz is dangerous and can get a lot of kills. Can turret dive without losing much health. Is very good at chasing down enemies. He is capable of doing damage in bursts. He is capable of carrying a team. You can come back if you don't do well early game. Easy to dodge abilities with the use of your abilities.
Cons:
Fizz is a squishy champ and can be focused on. does damage in bursts. Doesn't do good against multiple enemies unless you are fed (because he is squishy). He is easy to kill if a gank comes unless your abilities are available.
Overall the pros outweigh the cons by far.
Teamwork is recommended to help early so don't be afraid of leaving mid and helping top or bot to get a kill or an assist. Be aggressive and don't be afraid to ask for help! Use wards in the two mid bushes to alert you and other teammates of ganks. Use pings to tell when your champ or someone elses champ goes missing.
At lvl 3 you are able to leave mid and go help someone top or bot if you see an enemy champ with low health standing under a turret then go up there and start off with ur Playful / Trickster then use Seastone Trident the use your Urchin Strike on a minion to get away or if he isn't dead use it on him then Flash away, but if the enemy turret is killing you Ignite him and run away. But at lvl 6 you can gank easily by initiating with Chum the Waters then use Playful / Trickster etc..
