Champion Build Guide

They Never Learn! │ Invincible Tank Kled Top

By Chrys_Barber
Intro
Hey!
My name is Chrys and you might already know me from my Karma build.

I have been playing Kled competitively since Preseason 11 and I must say, this champion gives me the feeling I have had when first time playing Karma top lane.

It just feels insanely good to survive huge amounts of damage and this little guy excels at it! In my opinion, most people I have seen do not bring Kled to his full potential. With S11 changes, I believe Kled became one of the best tanks this game can offer!

This build should show you how to maximize every strength this champion has!

My time is limited, but if this guide gets some love, I will update it often!
The three items of apocalypse

The first item of apocalypse is none other than the Sunfire Aegis. It is definitely the best item for extended fights and actually deals tons of damage. Forget about Goredrinker, this item makes you the beefiest Yordle and it gives you the title of the most inconceivable damage dealer in the game - as you will be fighting for very long periods of time with this build, Sunfire Aegis provides you with insane sustained damage and survivability. And if that is not enough, tenacity mythic passive is a cute little bonus.

The second item of apocalypse is Sterak's Gage. It gives you AD, health, and most importantly, even more survivability! You will regenerate a lot of hp due to it's passive in fights, and in case you get unmounted, you get a huge shield, which can keep you alive until you get back on Skaarl. Even if this item of apocalypse is not enough to keep you alive, do not worry! We have another one!

The final item to finish this monstrous build is: Gargoyle Stoneplate! This one gives you an insane active effect - Skaarl's HP counts towards bonus HP - this means you get 100% of Skaarl's HP, which is insanely massive after itemization. There is no way you can get killed before getting back on Skaarl now! If you know you do not have to use it to get on Skaarl, just save it for when Sterak's Gage is on cooldown.
Other items
Titanic Hydra is always a great item for Kled, Black Cleaver is great against tanky teams, Warmog's Armor makes your HP bar massive, Thornmail shuts down auto-attack champs and healing, Spirit Visage makes you shield and heal to your heart's extent, Randuin's Omen is great against auto-attacks and slows like a sleeping policeman, Death's Dance is the best item against AD burst, Dead Man's Plate makes you the fastest Yordle alive, Abyssal Mask surprisingly gives you tons of damage after successful Q, Silvermere Dawn helps if you feel like you cannot move an inch, Guardian Angel is just an extralife and Force of Nature, well, exists.
How to be feared far and wide?
Here are some tips on how to make your opponents' minds stumble, break and fall:

At level 2, do not put the level up point into your W until you need it in a trade. This way you do not waste it on minions, and there is not a single champion that can fight you with your W up on level 2. If you are dismounted, put your level 3 point into Q, because you cannot use E while not on Skaarl.

When dismounting, you can actually use your Q mid-air. This almost ensures a full barrel of Pocket Pistol into your enemy and can be the difference between a won or lost skirmish.

If you have teleport, try to always keep it up for team fights on bot lane or around the dragon. Teamfighting is your biggest strength! Your ultimate makes a huge difference in fights, so use it with wisdom!

If you get dismounted, you will need to get 100 courage. The best way to get back on Skaarl is to point-blank Pocket Pistol into a champion, which will give you 25 courage, then use 4 auto-attacks of Violent Tendencies, which totals up to 85 courage. Attacking once more during this combo, or using Pocket Pistol in close range again will cause you to get back on Skaarl.

Always kite when dismounted. Run around like a madman, stab your opponents from every direction possible - dodging spells is vital!

After using your E, hold it as long as possible, in case your enemy uses his escape tool. Never double E!
