Counters Tf so hard with his e, but his early game is not that good, if you win the early and help your team gain the upper hand, they will help you deal with him. Try not to waste your yellow card on his e. Merc boots, phantom dancer and a qss can be effective against him.
Master Yi
A good Yi will delete TF in a blink given the chance. So don't give him the chance by winning early game as hard as possible. Phantom dancer, ninja tabi and dead man's plate is good vs him. Try to be the one who tanks him and stun him for your team to burst him down. Don't let him dodge your yellow card with his q.
Tryndamere
If he gets a qss you have no chance to duel him at any level. Try to face him in more favourable positions and try to chain cc him to make his qss worthless. Phantom dancer, ninja tabi maybe even a randuin or chain mail will help deal with a fed tryndamere.
Kayn
One of the easiest match ups i am not actually sure why, but my win rate against Kayn is always high with TF.
Gragas
His hard engages can be a big problem. Get your qss and an mr item if he is not the only magic damage source in enemy team. Try not to get caught to him late game as he can hold you long enough to get you killed by his team.
Amumu
His absurd early damage can be a problem before you get some mr. Qss and merc boots will help against his engages. try to bait his engage and stun him in a good position for your team to deal with him.
Diana
Fairly easy as her early game is not that good and late game she deals mostly magical damage. You may buy wit's end as 2nd item to tank her damage and still deal nice amount of damage yourself.
Elise
Her early game is annoying. Try not to get stunned by her and don't let her dodge your yellow card with her rappel. Qss and an mr item should do well vs her.
Evelynn
Just respect her damage until u get some mr and after that you should have no problem dealing with her. Consider qss vs her charm.
Fiddlesticks
His early can be annoying but after you buy some mr he will have a really hard time as you can stun him to make his ult useless and cancel his w with ease. Merc boots or qss would be a nice choice vs him as he highly depends on hard cc to be effective.
Graves
Used to be a harder match up but he is not as strong as before. So you can be much more effective than he is. Dead man's plate is more than enough to negate his burst damage most of the time.
Hecarim
Early game he will spam ganks with the advantage of predator but after the laning phase, his power will go down rapidly. You can easily outscale him if your team don't die to his every gank. Dead man's plate will negate his first burst and after you can melt him easily.
Jarvan IV
He is absurdly powerful in every phase of the game. Try to avoid him early and late game you can outscale him. As he has a burst damage he won't be able to one shot you after dead man's plate and he will be melted by you and your team after a failed engage. Just try to stun him while he engages.
Kayle
Her early is too weak. And jungle TF is one of her hardest counters even in very late game. Try to stun her in team fights especially after she uses her ult to deal free damage. Zhonya's will make her ult completely useless.
Kha'Zix
He is really too strong right now and if your team doesn't respect his early game. It may turn into a disaster. Phantom dancer, dead man's plate will help with his damage but won't be if he is over fed. Try to remind your team about his absurd early instead. Late game Jungle Tf actually counters him so hard. You can stun him when he jumps on your team mate to save. You can also negate his ult with your own to prevent him from making a play or escape.
Kindred
A total skill match up, they are actually same kind of jungler as TF, ranged assassin. Try to be more aggressive than them and try to counter their ganks. Deny them passive hunts. Stun her while their ult is ending and finish them off.
Lee Sin
Lee Sin is actually a very easy match up for TF, but if your team doesn't respect him and give him a big lead he may counter jungle effectively. Avoid fighting him early, you can outscale him soo hard late game. Dead man's plate is a must as he will one way or other will go full combo on you. Try stunning him on air after he casts q 2nd time. You can do this with autoattack order while your yellow card is picked.
Nidalee
Avoid her until you get some mr and later you will be able to make her completely useless. Wit's end and Hex drinker will help you make her run whenever she sees you.
Nocturne
He counters your ult's true sight but not the teleport. He can block one of your abilities with his spell shield so make sure it is your q he blocks. Qss will help you deal with his fear and dead man's plate will negate his burst. Phantom dancer can be picked if you are having a hard time.
Nunu & Willump
He is really weak in jungle right now. And his counter jungling wont hurt much as you can keep up your farm against him. After the laning phase you can help your team way harder than he can./Haven't played vs him after the buffs so i will update after i get my first taste :)
Olaf
A tricky match up. His ult counters our most relied yellow card. Rapid fire will help you poke him from a distance. Qss may sound absurd but, if he slows you once when he ults, you are gone. Qss will help you get away from him and you can turn, stun and fight him after his ult ends. Always keep your distance to him as he deals high damage also he can life steal so hard.
Ornn
Don't have enough experience against him. But he is strong right now. Ruined king and some semi defensive item should be enough to deal with him.
Pantheon
Early game he is a monster. And his passive can completely negate your yellow card. Try to auto him than pick your yellow card. It is best to avoid him early. After the laning phase and dead man's plate you can fight him. Late game you out scale him so hard.
Poppy
One of the most annoying champions for me. She tanks forever. Ruined king should help dealing with her tankiness. Your early ganks are better than hers. Try to get the lead.
Rammus
His early ganks are the best atm. Qss will help against him. Wit's end and Botrk can melt him.
Rek'Sai
Her early game is powerful, and after ult rework, she can deal much more damage late game too. More like a skill match up here. Try to be the better one. Dead man's plate will help against her.
Rengar
One of the easisest match ups for jungle TF. Just be careful not to let him bait your yellow card. TF completely counters his ult with his own ult + yellow card. Dead man's plate will negate his burst. He needs a very good start to win this match up which your team can always provide.
Maokai
He can avoid your yellow card and cc you forever. Try not to get caught by him in a bad position. Botrk and executioner's call will help melting him. If your team don't open grievous wounds on him he can 1v5. So never ever forget the executioner's vs him.
Sejuani
She is strong right now, has a really good team fighting. Qss will help against her cc and when she engages your team together with the support you have the option to ult her backline and assassinate their damage sources. This will work if you are in a good shape and out damage enemy carries. Runaan is great for this purpose. If you like to melt Sejuani Botrk should be more than enough.
Shaco
More of mind games between him and you. Try to avoid him early. Keep your jungle entrances warded as possible. Late game you can out scale him so hard. Dead man's plate will help with his unseen burst, then you can catch him with your ult and rapid fire + yellow card and he will die instantly.
Shen
Not so popular in jungle but can be a treath against TF as he counters TF's ult and auto attacks early game. But late game with botrk you can melt him. Rapid fire and qss are also helpful against him.
Shyvana
She is too strong right now but she doesn't have the tools to keep up with TF to kill him. She is a sustained damage dealer with no cc. So a fast moving jungle Tf should survive her engagaes and stun from safety and melt her. Botrk and dead man's plate are very useful against her.
Skarner
Became a hard math up after the buffs. He spams ganks so fast and you can not keep up with that. And if your team dies to most of his ganks things will get harder. If his team can't win early too hard you can counter his plays in team fights. Try to get a qss after your second item and he will be completely useless as you can stun him when he ults your team mate to prevent him drag him.
Trundle
He is one of the strongest early junglers atm. He can outduel pretty much anyone at level 3. His ganks are really good too. Try not to fight him 1v1 as he can prevent your escape with his e. Rapid fire should be the 2nd item to stun him from a safe distance make him useless.
Twitch
Pretty much same kind of a jungler. The only difference he brings no cc but much higher area damage. He is level 2 cheeser too. So remind your team about this. You will be shocked how often people forget about Twitch's cheese. If he can't get enough kills pre 6 he loses so hard. In team fights you can ult to see where he is hiding and teleport to him to assassinate.
Udyr
One of the strongest junglers atm. Keep your distance at any cost. Rapid fire and dead man's plate will do great vs him. Try to ward the back side of your lanes as he has no gap closer he prefers to gank from behind. Try to counter gank him.
Vi
Annoying match up. She can one shot you by face rolling. Try to avoid her and farm for your dead man's plate. Try to gank when you think she is away as she can turn a good gank to a disaster with ease. Zhonya's is a must as there is no other counter for her ult.
Volibear
Don't see him much and he is one of the weakest champions atm. Probably going under a rework. Just buy an executioner's call early on.
Warwick
Can be a hard match up or a very easy one according to early game gank successes. Executioner's call and a qss can make his life real hard. Chain mail is also an option as att sp debuff and grievous wounds effect him badly.
Wukong
A really hard match up. If he gets the lead he will one shot you with ease. Your ult can disable his stealth and you can stun him on his ult to lower his effectivity.
Xin Zhao
Keep away from this guy at all cost. He has an insane burst.
Hi, i'm Lurtz27, an off meta jungler. I completed season 7 as Platinum in Euro West and TR servers. I used to main Malzahar Jungle, but after last changes to voidlings, i think Riot finally killed Malzahar Jungle. I hope they will make some new changes and let us play him in the jungle again. About Twisted Fate jungle, i came with this idea firstly to effectively deal with unseen champions like Twitch. I don't play him as a fun build with full damage but instead i am playing him as a ranged assassin/fighter to be more consistant. So my build is meant to win more games, not to have some fun or troll. I stream on twitch.tv sometimes come and be my guest if you are interested in offmeta picks. I play Vel'koz support, Kayle,Malzahar,TF,Veigar mid too. And in the jungle i play a few more champs. Hope you enjoy my build and make it work in your games.
Pros / Cons
Pros / Cons
Pros
Extremely high first blood pressure with effective lvl 2 gank.
Totally unpreventable ganks after 6 with ult "Destiny".
Very versatile build path; can be a tank melter with botrk, an assassin with ie or a 2nd marksman with guinsoo's.
Very hard to itemize against; deals hybrid damage with lots of %hp on hit.
Advantage of surprise: People will think you are the mid so sometimes your mid laner will have chance to ct pick instead of getting countered.
Extremely high pick potential with Rapid Fire Cannon; people will underestimate your yellow card range very often and it will win you many games.
Punishes off positions so hard; an adc farming alone top lane? Her fate is sealed!
Prevents unseen champions to abuse their advantages.
Cons
Very squishy early game, need experience to deal with it.
Can not spam ganks to keep up with aggressive gank junglers early on.
If lvl 2 gank fails he falls behind and needs to farm until 6 and that puts some pressure on his team.
QSS can make his life harder but not impossible. I will add another chapter to show how to deal with opponents with qss.
People in lower elo will often think you are trolling and will flame you.
