Shauna Vayne knows this fact well. As a young privileged girl in the heart of Demacia's elite, her father tried to convince her of the constabulary's ever-vigilant eye. Young and naive, she truly believed that her world was one of perfect safety, until one night, when a twisted witch took interest in her father. The malevolent woman overcame her father's conciliar guard, then tortured her family before murdering them. The young Shauna escaped only by hiding herself and then fleeing once the hag had departed, plagued by the screams of her loved ones as she ran. A burning hatred was born in her that day, one that could never be denied.

Vayne was able to take care of herself using her father's money, and she began to train as soon as an instructor would have her as a student. By the time she was a fully grown woman, she had become a grim warrior. However, the fields of battle were not to be her home. Demacia needed a protector, one who hunted those lost to the darkness. Shauna used her family's contacts to become the first Night Hunter, and now her prowess is the stuff of legends. It is said that those who practice the black arts quake when they hear that the Night Hunter is on the prowl. Despite her crusade, Shauna has looked at the League of Legends in horror. There are champions who have clearly lost themselves to the blackest of magics, and who have been embraced within the League even though they should be put down for the safety of all. The time has come for the Night Hunter to execute her secret mission - to purge the League of Legends.

Welcome to my Vayne guide! Vayne is great at disrupting enemy tankers, as long as they don't have Frozen Heart or the dreaded Thornmail. Who doesn't hate Thornmail or Frozen Heart? I know everyone (That are AD carries) does! Let's dive in and see what wonders are hiding in this guide!

P.S: This is my first guide, so, I would like some tips!

My Runes are based on Attack Speed, so, you can burst damage in early game. Also, you get very good farm if playing with a supporter. Good supporters like Sona or Janna can help Vayne extremely well. My runes are 9 Greater Mark of Desolation, 9 Greater Seal of Attack Speed, 9 Greater Glyph of Attack Speed, and 3 Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage. All these are very good at getting your farm and poking enemies.

My masteries are 21/0/9, taking Executioner , because it'll help you kill people faster. You need to max Swiftness for Vayne, so, you can chase (With her passive Night Hunter) anyone at anytime! In my opinion, I think you should take Good Hands and Improved Recall , all maxed out, so, you can get to base and revive quicker.

I start out with and I always head to bottom lane. I always get at least 825 Gold, so, I can get another and a . On my trip back, I go ahead and buy and if you have enough get B.F. Sword. Usually, when I go back to base, I'll have enough to get , but if you don't just get Vampric Scepter. I noticed that we need more attack speed, so, I get , but if you don't have enough get or . After that, I buy , or if you have enough . Since, we have attack speed, movement speed, and critical strike, I thought I should get . To build it, I bought B.F. Sword. I came back, and sold 2 of my and bought or . My next visit back to base, I grab the . Since, I have 1 more item slot, I bought, if your enemies are racking up armor, . If they're not get instead.

I always max out Tumble first, but making sure to rank Silver Bolts at least 2 times. After, I max out Tumble I max Condemn. I always rank my Ultimate every time it comes up.

My alternatives are, if you are battling lots of tankers like Shen or Alistar, max out Silver Bolts. Then, max out Tumble and Condemn.

My Summoner Spells are Flash and Ignite. Any alternatives are Ghost, Exhaust, and Teleport. Any others would be a waste of summoner spell space! Do not choose any others!

Pros

Cons

- Hard to escape enemies if in trouble
- Vulnerable to Blinds, Stuns, and knock backs/knock ups
- Extremely Squishy
