Introduction

Hi. My name is ikillu4fun, and this is my very first champion build.

Things you should note:

-This is a DPS build with a small amount of survivability added in.
-This item build is highly costly but it can be done as long as you are constantly farming gold and/or killing enemy champions.

Please leave comments on what you think, and please VOTE! (Thumbs up please) =D ; )

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Amazing farmer
- Provides a great amount of pressure in team fights.
- Good Ganker.
- Can be the reason for winning crucial team fights.
- Capable of easy escapes with Slice and Dice.
- Only Croc that no Crocodile hunter can tame!

Cons:
- Squishy early game.
- Uses rage so may take players time to adjust
- Usually a kill target in early gameplay.

Runes

Rune choices:

Greater Mark of Desolation: Your a physical DPS champion. This choice is common sense.

Greater Seal of Attack Speed: More attack speed = faster rage gain.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: Renekton has low Magic resistance thus these runes help him survive again Casters.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation: Makes players say "Holy **** why did that hurt so much!?" ( also refer back to Marks ).

Summoner Spells

Why Ghost and Exhaust?

Ghost: I chose ghost because its a great item for escapes when combined with Slice and Dice. Also is you need to chase someone to keep them within the range of Dominus.

Exhaust: Exhaust will stop any champions initial rotation dead in their tracks, or stop their finishing moves from killing you. Also, Exhaust + Slice and Dice + Ghost = Escape.

These two summoner spells make for perfect offensive and defensive combinations. Ganks and Escapes; chasing and running away.

But if you have a six sense when it comes to predicting ganks and knowing where your enemies are then i recommend you pick up Ignite instead of Ghost.

Masteries

Just want to point out a few things.

I chose Archaic Knowledge for two reasons:
1. I had one point in my Mastery tree left.
2. Because the 15% penetration helps Renekton's ult Dominus avoid some magic resistance the enemy champions have.

Naturally Summoner spell masteries are always helpful especially Cripple for Exhaust, and Haste for Ghost.

Hardiness and Resistance are part of the typical DPS build and increase survivability.

Abilities

Well I've mentioned a few of Renekton's abilities, so I think i ought to show you what they do.

Cull the Meek: (Q skill)
Renekton swings his blade, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+) physical damage to nearby enemies and gains 7.5% of the damage dealt as Health, up to 50/75/100/125/150. Each hit grants 5 Fury, up to 25. Enemy champions grant 300% additional health recovery.
50 Fury Bonus: Damage increased to 90/135/180/225/270 (+). Heal percent increased to 15%, up to 150/225/300/375/450.

Ruthless Predator: (W skill)
Renekton's next attack strikes twice dealing physical damage (10/30/50/70/90 + 150/150/150/150/150% of his Attack Damage) and stuns for 0.75 seconds. Each hit applies on-hit effects.
50 Fury Bonus: Instead, Renekton attacks three times dealing physical damage (15/45/75/105/135 + 225/225/225/225/225% of his Attack Damage) and stuns his target for 1.5 seconds.

Slice and Dice: (E skill)
Slice: Renekton dashes, dealing 45/75/105/135/165 (+) physical damage. Hitting an enemy grants the ability to use Dice for 4 seconds.
Dice: Renekton dashes dealing 45/75/105/135/165 (+) physical damage.
Dice - 50 Fury Bonus: Damage increased to 67.5/112.5/157.5/202.5/247.5 (+). Enemies hit have 15/17.5/20/22.5/25% reduced Armor for 4 seconds.

Dominus: (R skill)(Renekon's Ult)
Renekton surrounds himself with dark energies for 15 seconds, gaining 300/450/600 Health. While active, he deals 50/75/100 (+0.1) magic damage to nearby enemies and gains 5 Fury per second.

Reign of Anger: Passive
Renekton gains rage for every autoattack, and when under 50% he is given bonus furry gain.

How does Fury work?
- Renekton has cap of 100 Fury from levels 1-18 and every second he is out of combat he loses 3 fury.

- Renekton gains furry for autoattacking and since Ruthless Predator does 2 autoattacks you gain rage from using it EXCEPT when you are already at 50+ rage.

- Gain zero fury from Cull the Meek when at or above 50 Fury.

- at 50+ rage his abilities gain their Rage effects, and on use of the ability the rage is consumed.

Tip: its helpful to have some rage built up before stepping into a fight against another champion.

Skill Sequence

Why did I do my skill order the way i did?

I proritized my skills the way i did because after Ruthless Predator the other skills are pretty much situational on enemy comp, how much you've been fed, and how much you have farmed.

If I'm feed then I will rank up Ruthless Predator, then Slice and Dice, with Cull the Meek last. (I do this because generally when I start killing I dont stop or I'm "the ganker" for my team).

If im not fed and need to farm a bit more I'll rank up Cull the Meek over Slice and Dice.

I order I posted above is there to maximize farming. I USUALLY go with this build because I'm generally not "the ganker" in my teams, but when I am I follow the other build I said.

PLEASE NOTE:
If you partner you are laning with want to try and draw 1st blood the take Ruthless Predator over Cull the Meek at level one.

Items

Now it's time to explain my item choices.

- Pick up Doran's Blade first because the extra damage, health, and life steal bonus words hand-in-hand with the hp you get from Cull the Meek and damage done from Ruthless Predator.

- After farming for a bit (saying you pick up zero kills) you should have enough money to buy a Vampiric Sceptor, Boots, and 1 or 2 Health Potion. This is key because boots will allow you to get back to your lane faster and with the combined total of 17% life steal from Vampiric Sceptor and Doran's Blade will allow you to stay in lane and farm up more.

- If you are still lacking in champion kills then pick up Avarice Blade over Ionian Boots of Lucidity the next time you go back to base.

- If for some reason you continue to lack in champion kills then do not turn the Avarice Blade into Youmuu's Ghostblade yet but instead get a Last Wisper.

- Black Cleaver: is an amazing item because of its passive ability and the attack speed is definitly well needed.

- Bloodthirster: this weapon yes does provide a snowball effect, but with Renektons amazing farming ability he should have the extra 40 attack damage and 10% lifesteal up at all times (unless your dying that much).-

---- At this point Doran's Blade should be sold ----

- Infinity Edge: this item will allow Renektons crit's to hit harder. Also it increases damage, and crit chance. In combination with Youmuu's Ghostblade it becomes a very vital item to have.

So the order you get your items should be:
Doran's Blade >> Vampiric Sceptor + Health Potion + Boots >> Ionian Boots of Lucidity >> Avarice Blade >> Youmuu's Ghostblade >> Last Whisper >> Black Cleaver >> Bloodthirster >> Infinity Edge.

ALTERNATE ITEM CHOICES

Life steal work hand-in-hand with Renekton, but there are others who are not fans of snowball items. so i think the best alternative to Bloodthirster would be the Hextech Gunblade. Now some of you may be asking "Woah woah Ability power and spell vamp!?" well here is my answer: Dominus does magice damage, 150 (+) magic damage at max rank. Thus 150 (+75) magic damage WITH 20% spell vamp will allow ure ult to do some more damage and return some HP to you increasing survivability in fights and allowing you to stay in a bit longer.

If you are still lacking is survivability then i recommend you drop Infinity Edge and pick up a Frozen Mallet. The passive effect makes enemies with no escape or little escape a much easier target to kill because well they aren't exactly going anywhere.
