Wukong is a tanky dps and an assassin. Wukong can simply walk up to a carry and zone them out of team fights. It is always important to know when your decoy is up because it very important in escaping and initiating. Wukong is always very mobile and can jukes other champs with ease. However, wukong is a very difficult champ to use in top lane. Going up against tanky high damage champs such as garen and darius can be a pain. Although u can poke at them and run away with your basic e q w combo. always make sure you have enough mana to decoy out of ganks and loosing fights.

Wukong is a very strong 1v1 duelist. However, some wukong require mana to be able to be effective. His first ability "crushing blow" work similar to gangplank parrley and can crit. This ability can be taken first against squishy melee such as zed kha'zix and so on. If you ever get a level advantage of your enemy make sure to bully your opponent in lane as much as possible. And as said above... Don't use decoy unless you are sure there is no incoming ganks and if u need to make a quick get away.
