Hello and welcome to my first build on mobafire. In this build I will tell you about Yorick.
First I will talk about the runes I would pick. Then about the masteries, the items, summoner spells.

I will also try to add more kind of build I think yorick can jungle aswell but I didnt try it myself

Ignite
I like to grap ignite with yorick just bit extra dmg and 3 ghost on some1 + ingite is sick dmg.


Flash
Well flash is just awesome it gets you out of fight or in and is good for chasing.

Other good spells to pick


Ghost
Well yorick is a realy slow champion so Ghost is a good pick aswell for chase and run away.


Clarity
Clarity is nice if you find that you just have that mana problem at the start of the game


Smite
If you go jungle with him then smite is a must he can jungle not that good in my opinion. He isn't a good jungler because its easy to get away from him and ofc he is very slow.


Exhaust
Good for 1v1 combat, nice slow and shuts down the AD carrie in teamfights


Teleport
I guess you can take it nice for ganks if you keep warding bushes and for quick lane def.

Spells not take


Rally
Ever seen anyone use it ? If your team realy needs it let the support pick it.


Heal
This spell is just not good the only use for it is early game.


Revive
Well it can be usefull but most of the time it isn't.

E > Q > W > E > Q > R > E > Q > E > Q > R > E > Q > W > W > R > W > W

The way I like to play yorick is with E and Q on good lvl E combo with your W skill does nice dmg and gives you alot of lifesteal. Q is your main dmg dealer this does 150 dmg + your AD.

Your ult should most of the time be on you AD carry since he has the most AD and your ghost will deal 75% of that to the enemy so it's like fighting 6v5 and should your carry die he will come back!! With full life of that you'll lose 10% each second so that will give him around 10 secs to fight again.(This will most likely boosted in the next patch)

Starting items

Meki Pendant Nice starting item for yorick since he got mana issues you will turn this into a later on in the game. Health Potion I pick 2 of these just to keep you in the lane longer. ________________________ Core items Manamune This item is great for yorick giving you the extra mana/mp5 you need to dominate your lane. Sheen This item gives you a bonus on your next physical attack if you use an ability. This will get more dmg out your Q. Trinity Force Nice item very expensive but a must for yorick, the bonus dmg explained above, 250 hp wich is always nice to have and decent AD with a slow. Mercury's Treads Get these boots for a team with lots of cc if the other team lacks cc then just pick Beserker Greaves ________________________ Preferred items Warmog's Armor Great item for extra survivability and you will use this extra hp later on. Atma's Impaler With Trinity force and Warmog's armor you got nice hp and this will boost your attack dmg alot. Banshee's Veil Good defensive item since you will have enough dmg by now you just need to be in the fight. ________________________ Viable Items Thornmail buy this if your up an high physical dmg team and you feel like absorbing lots of dmg. Or if a AD carry is fed. Youmuu's Ghostblade Great item for yorick I can't find a good place for this item in my build but it is nice to have on him. CD so you can keep spamming ghost, AD and some nice attack speed/movementspeed. The Bloodthirster I don't feel like you need the lifesteal on yorick because of his E but feel free to pick it. Infinity Edge Great item.

I choose 0/21/9 as my masteries these will give you good survivability for against those nasty ranged champions. You probbely think good hands!! why?? well then check this on the LoL forums http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=219077 then if you disagree
you can always pick Perseverance if you like it more.

Still updating this guide, i will make a jungle section for the pp that like to jungle with him. still trying my masteries out will update that too.
