Zadarath's Guide To Urgot

Hello and welcome to Zadarath's guide to Urgot. This is my first Guide and i worked quite hard to help people who are new to Urgot and his Reworked Abilities. hopefully this guide will allow you to Purge the opposition and show your Disdain for those annoying top laners like Riven. Urgot was once a meme pick but is now an amazing champion and can Easily Dominate games and his Ult Fear Beyond Death is possibly the most annoying and satisfying ability in the game.

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ Great early Engage
+ High Damage
+ Powerful Dash/Grab
+ Can become Unkillable
+ Fun Passive
+ Amazing Ult and execution
Urgot is a good pick in most Situations and is hard to counter if you don't know how to. Whilst he doesn't have an amazing escape he makes up for this with, Disdain and Purge this allows Urgot to fight in most situations other champs would have to run although Disdain can help you get out of a sticky situation and Purges shield can save you from DOT and damage that would kill you, He has great duelling potential and is almost always going to come out on top early due to Echoing Flames, making it hard for melee champs like Xin Zhao for farm and duel effectively.

- Can be squishy without the correct items
Urgot can struggle in games, and if he is camped by the enemy jungler he can struggle to keep up with the game. in comparison with other toplaners his speed really cripples him and can make it hard to get away from other lane bullies like Illaoi or ganks. his ult ( Fear Beyond Death) is an extremely important ability depending on if you hit it or miss it could be the difference between wining a fight or losing as do you not only instantly kill someone but you fear any enemies around you for 1.5 seconds meaning if you miss a large portion of your team fight potential disappears. lastly not having your Echoing Flames up in a fight will mean you will almost defiantly lose the fight

Echoing Flames (Passive)

INNATE: Urgot's six legs each conceal a shotgun that covers an arc, together forming a full circle of cover around him. Each shotgun has one shell and an individual reload timer which is affected by cooldown reduction.

The next basic attack in the direction of a loaded shotgun causes it to fire, dealing 40 - 100 (based on level)% AD (+ 4.5 / 5.25 / 6 / 7 / 8% of target's maximum health) physical damage to all enemies hit within, up to 25 - 365 (based on level) against monsters. This damage will apply life steal with one-third effectiveness.

Echoing Flames deals 10% reduced damage to enemies it has damaged in the last 5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Corrosive charge (Q)

RANGE: 800
COST: 55 mana
COOLDOWN: 12/11/10/9/8
ACTIVE: Urgot launches a canister at the target location that explodes after a brief delay, dealing physical damage and Slow icon slow ing all enemies hit for 1 second.

PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 25 / 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 (+ 70% AD)
SLOW: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65%.

Purge (W)

Effect Radius: 490
COST: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 Mana
COOLDOWN: 13/12/11/10/9
PASSIVE: Urgot's other abilities apply Purge to enemy champions for a few seconds

ACTIVE: Urgot shields himself and autonomously attacks the nearest enemy for the next 4 seconds, without interrupting his movement, prioritizing enemy champions marked for Purging.


Urgot attacks with 3.0 attack speed but deals modified damage, with only 33.3% on-hit damage and cannot Critical strike icon critically strike. Attacks deal a minimum of 50 damage against minions.

While active, Urgot also gains 40% slow resistance and Ghost versus non-champions but attacking reduces his base movement speed by 125 for 1 second.


After 0.5 seconds, Urgot can Purge 2 reactivate the ability to end all effects, except any remaining shield.

SHIELD STRENGTH: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 30% bonus health)
MODIFIED DAMAGE: 12 (+ 20 / 24 / 28 / 32 / 36% AD).

Disdain (E)

RANGE: 475
COST: 50 mana
COOLDOWN: 16/15/14/13/12
ACTIVE: After a brief delay, Urgot dashes in the target direction, dealing physical damage to all enemies in the way and knocking them aside.

Urgot comes to a stop upon colliding with an enemy champion,flinging them over himself and Stun them for 0.75 seconds after they land.

PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 25 / 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 (+ 70% AD)
SLOW: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65%.

Fear Beyond Death (R)

RANGE: 1600
TETHER RADIUS: Global
COST: 100 mana
COOLDOWN: 120/95/70
FIRST CAST: Urgot fires a chem-drill forward that impales the first enemy champion struck, dealing physical damage, leashing them for 3 seconds and Slow icon slowing them by 0% - 75% (based on target's missing health).

If the target is below 25% of their maximum health, Fear Beyond Death can be re-activated, and automatically does so after 3 seconds if the target is within the threshold.

SECOND CAST: Urgot begins channelling as he launches chains at the target, suppressing them on impact and reeling them in over X seconds, during which they are untargetable by other effects.
The channel can only be interrupted by Urgot's death. If the channel is successful, the target is executed and surrounding enemies are terrified for 1.5 seconds.

PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 50 / 175 / 300 (+ 50% AD)
