Introduction

If you like breaking the meta you have come to the right place. Zyra is soft, immobile, and slow. While doing lots of quick damage, crowd controls for days, and keeps enemy's where she wants them to be. So as you can see she has extreme flaws while having the perfect ways to deal with them. I would highly suggest a lock down support. It goes very well with keeping your enemies in your plants taking lots of damage.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

Long Range Poke
Strong Presence throughout the whole game due to her cc
Skillshots can sometimes be blocked by plants
Can kill from the grave
Very annoying due to plants

Game Phases

Early:

During the early phases you will want to harass a lot. Until you are around lvl 8 you have fairly enough survive-ability to drive people insane.

Mid:

Once you enter the mid phase, you may have started team fighting. What you need to be aware of is if you do not have your static shiv yet. Do not over extend. You will regret it. Once you get 2/3 items into your build now you have more leeway.

Late:

During the late phase, make sure you continually cc and keep your team fights going the way you want them. Do not rush your ult or your snare. You still deal with cds that mean life or death so land them correctly.

Skill Sequence

Not much really to say here, Zyra is a straight forward champ. I like to use the melee plants with slow vs the ranged ones. Especially in lane before team fighting this allows me to get a lock on the adc from my support. Straight into a snare from me with double slowing plants. If you believe going into the fight you can kill, get your ult off as soon as possible to help when them flashing away. Nothings worse then watching you waste your ult.

Team Work

Zyra deals lots of her damage by being a traditional adc. stand in the back. Keep your team peeling, its not hard to get off lots of annoying kills without really doing anything. Land your snares, peel for your team, land that ult and poke away.
