Ho ho ho.
Tis the season to be giving... harsh Judgement.
So yeah. For a limited time only, (aka, until i get flooded with work again), I will be around todestroy... "critique" guides.
If anything, I have even more bile i need to throw than before.
You have been warned.

It feels... off.
Edit: No wait. It is off. I knew it.
Spelling/punctuation/grammer/whocares is generally fine with no eye-gougingly poor constructions.
Beyond "loosing". no idea why people spell it that way. Correct way is "losing". That's it. End of grammer nazism etc.
But it's just... lacking. I can't exactly review a guide which, in all honestly, is incomplete.
lack of explanation
This is probably by far the greatest flaw in this guide. The fact it doesn't explain things as well as it could do. Heck, sometimes, you don't even state things which should be there!
For example, the most obvious thing missing to me, is the fact there is no discussion of Kennen's abilities. Zip. None. nada.
Other things missing:
Explanation of masteries.
Explanation of items chosen (nothing beyond "anything with mana = no gogo".
I go through the motions of this in most guides.
You have a rune page set up for the two situations you're describing. Fine.
You haven't explained why they're appropriate for that situation.
For example. Why scaling AP vs flat? Why not MR? Why X and not Y.
But you've also commited some cardinal sins of guide writing: Namely, writing opinion.
Anything not mentioned simply isn't viable.
Why not?
If you don't have another AP on the team, don't bother
Why not? What if you had AD casters? Spell-heavy team? Still worthless?
TLDR:
you're actually wasting my time.
Guide is incomplete.
Longer version:
I just checked, and the list that states what should be in a guide, would appear to agree with me.
Focused a lot on match ups.
Not much else to it.
List on the side when you write a guide as to what should be in it.
Does not even fit that criteria.
Therefore, wasting my time.
Result: -1

You are definitely going soft if you think "loosing" is the only writing issue w/his guide.
It's not.
But at the same time, It's like beating up a crippled kid. From the word "go", it's already going to be wrong on more levels than fighting a able-bodied person.
The guide as it stands is just incomplete. So i can't rip it to pieces...

I don't quite get what you mean? You want me to write out what his skills do and explain how to use them?
As in: "press q->throw shuriken, you can also use this ability to check bushes"?
And you want me to explain my masteries -> In S2 i had a masteries section BECAUSE there was a choice between them.
Theese masteries are the best masteries because damage.
They're just some straightforward sections where there is no need for them to be there beyond the cheatsheet -> That's what the cheatsheet's for.
Let me give you an example:
From your LB guide: the section runes, summoners, masteries.
You use 1300 words and 2 pictures on explaining: Theese are the best, take theese, no exceptions.
I use my cheatsheet for that purpose.
The reason i put a lot of work into my matchup section is because if you pick kennen top you need to know your matchup and even slight mistakes make you lose the entire lane.
The section: Items not to get - why? just why? You're making a guide on how to play the champion, listing items that are not good won't help you or the person reading in any way. I list 1 item that simply isn't good on kennen and that's because there's a big misconception of it actually being good on him.
Of course this isn't about your leblanc guide, but imo explaining something that simply doesn't change ever is just silly.

Dunno what i can say.
Guides need XYZ.
Your guide doesn't have XYZ.
You can debate it all you want, but at the end of the day, if you don't have XYZ, it's not as good a guide as it could be from the get go.
And yes actually. Explain everything. You've done a common mistake of assuming your readership know what they're doing, and what the champion even does before you've begun. Assume they don't. They don't even know who kennen is. Get the picture now?
The problem with you, is that you're writing a guide as to how to play top vs opponnents, as kennen.
As opposed to "how to play kennen top." I.e, you assume they already know the champion. That's just a huge mistake from the word go.
The two are very different things.
You bring up my LB guide:
It explains why i chose what i chose. Does yours? Not really.
Case in point:
A lot of kennen players I've seen get

You don't touch it at all. no explanation as to why, or why not.
Still don't get it?
