Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

I was on a huge winning streak and getting super ****ing close to Diamond I :c. We were like 20 wins - 7 losses and I was Diamond III 88 points with stupidly high MMR. 3 wins and I had Diamond I for sure. Nope. Forget it, you're going through Diamond II buddy. QQ

That was my second time playing with Best Riven NA (a challenger). The rumble was RumbleMidGG's smurf. He raped the **** outta this game. All I did is follow him and kill everything we'd see. Pretty easy game.
Also, I stopped duoQing with Mysst and suddenly games got a lot easier. It's not because he was bad, it's because when you duoQ, you play against higher elo teams because Riot knows that you have the advantage of communication. For example, I think this game we had a few Plat I's on the enemy team and our team.
I'm back to 73 points. I don't really think I'll be able to jump from Diamond 3 to 1 anymore because it's taking me too long ;/
