I really don't understand this. I go 2-3 AGAIN. Then I play some more to get my series back, and I get 2 more **** games...currently at 40 points.

Lol. Got just what I needed...a 3 win streak. Was at 40 points, won 3, got series, and 3-0'd it. Got really good teams most of the games, and 4/6 of them I got mid. I just need mid to win =3

Because that's not how the system works. Also plat right now starts around 1800-1820 so that wouldn't even be accurate. Elo/MMR is independent from rank so, depending on series and such, you could have a higher elo/MMR than is typical for your rank.
No verification until we get a new system to reflect the s3 changes.
