Tldr - I guess I see where they're coming from on this item but burst players shouldnt despair until after S3 items are in full swing.

Really don't think DFG will be worth building early on anything anymore. Biggest nerf to an item I've ever seen.

I feel very strongly about a lot of things, and DFG is one of my keywords.
I just feel the comparison to atmas was in error.
A better comparison would be to gunblade, it was being built by non-akali/jax players because it was insanely gold efficient, and it was nerfed so it would still be good on the target champions.
