I understand that AD and AP each have their own significant differences and advantages. I just don't understand how all of you seem to do so much worse with hybrid. It does more than enough damage for me to be happy with it...obviously. Maybe you just aren't playing him right. With different items and skill reliability often comes different playstyle.
And what, may I ask, is wrong with Nashor's? It has great attack speed, decent ability power, good Mp5, and awesome CDR. When I build it though, I only get Fiendish Codex until I am done building my other items. And depending on how the game is going, I could build that into DFG or Tome, assuming I want more AP.

40% Cooldown reduction and insane attack speed
=
much weaker spells, less burst. Low auto attack damage

Nashor's Tooth isn't a very good item on Ez.
High CDR is ofc good, but the AS part of it is nothing special because you won't deal enough damage with attacks on a hybrid/AP build anyway.
Madred's Bloodrazor on the other hand gives a huge amount of extra damage on attacks with it's AS, that way the AS won't be a waste.
Keep in mind though; Attack speed shouldn't be prioritized on Ezreal because he has plenty with his passive.
Hybrid just really isn't meant to be..

So I have 2 questions. I've seen stuff on Manamune and Archangels, and hybrid. So I was wondering if two things would be viable/good/w/e.
a) would getting Manamune + AA be good on a hybrid?
b) would getting Frozen mallet + Rylai's be good on a bulky EZ?
c) would tank EZ be viable in shutting down AD auto attackers completely? Frozen Heart?

Oh wellz. It obviously works damn good for me, but that's just me.
Manamune and Archangel's would be so fail. You get very little AD and AP compared to other items. You will have godly mana and Mp5 though.
Frozen Mallet and Rylai's slows don't stack. I would never get a Frozen Mallet anyway. FM gives so little damage and so much health and slow. You can get a better item that has more damage or more health and just go get the red buff. It slows too.
Tank Ez? I don't see that happenening...at all...ever. But whatever works for you. You know what should shut auto-attackers down? Thornmail (and Grevious Wounds for those lifesteal stackers).

well seems like your matchmade with some baddies, if those other builds of yours are working aswell.
Wow, Nashor's isn't THAT bad. Geez. And my builds seriously aren't THAT bad. Maybe I just know how to play. Ever thought of that?
I don't mean for any of this to get personal. I play my way, you play your way. My way works for me. Your way works for you. Get off my nuts about it.
I had already dropped that and responded to Nighthawk's ideas.
