How should you build Gangplank?

What would be the optimal build for in most games? I've seen a lot build into . I've personally built and into . It worked well but what would you build?

Gangplank has like 3 builds; Bruiser-Plank (Probably the most viable), Critplank and Mageplank.

Example builds;

BruiserPlank: , , , , , Another defensive item

CritPlank: , , , , ,

MagePlank: , , , , ,

Your build is ok, but I'd replace the sunfire for randuin's and drop the Liandries uness you're Mageplank (even then it's iffy)

I don't think "critplank" is as unviable as it's said (specially coz I do it versus plats and I'm jungling). You just gotta realize you're a really precious source of damage and position accordingly. His pickup potential and dueling is incredible too)

And I still don't understand how people underrate CDR on Gangplank so much.

I personnaly would replace with on TankPlank, i don't feel like brings anything useful when you don't have . ^^

You could just read the most popular guides......

This is what I use, and always works well for me if you play him well. Rush avarice blade, then buy sheen or phage and finish trinity force. Then rush IE, then statik shiv. At this point its situational, if you want more damage go with last whisper and hydra, or build situational defensive. Buy boots and upgrade them to ionian boots when you feel like it. Do not build mageplank not very viable. But with the core 3 items and and then building situational I'd say you'd have the best luck. Critplank is what I always go for however.
