Play safe until you get an opening and oneshot the [[brand]]. If you play back, at a certain point, the [[brand]] will have to get out of his minion wave to poke you and this is when you can punish him. In general, I'd say tank supports are better because he can destroy squishies with his damage, unless you outskill him.[/quote]

Soraka generally stands far enough back and pokes (which Leona hates) and if Leo hits the ADC they just get healed and not much happens. Thresh is far better for what you're trying to describe. Or Blitz. Lucky grabs/hooks, or ones on a misplaced Soraka are far more effective imo. I'd like Vyns take on it though.[/quote]

I'd like Vyns take on it though.[/quote]I disagree, Leona's good against Soraka because Soraka can't poke her or disengage effectively. Meanwhile Soraka'll pop like a balloon. You can and should stay out of Leo's range as Soraka, but remember that Solar Flare's range is huge and there's always Flash too. Even if you don't focus Soraka, after lvl 6 your burst will be really strong. When I play Soraka, sometimes I can't get a second heal off before my ADC dies to burst.[/quote]
