Nameless Bard's Soraka Guide for Dummies
Verdict: A different Soraka approach
Possible Improvements: Needs alteration of colour, maybe some images. Runes need a re-think, and possibly a rethink of the items too. Not your typical support build, so it's hard to get your head around trying to think of Soraka as an AP Mage, not a support bot.

Constructive Criticism:

1) There's a reason why people suggest buying 3x Avarice Quints. Alone, they are useless. You really need the 3 to produce results. 1 Avarice Quint gives you 0.1 gold per second. Absolutely worthless. You get roughly 1.5 gold per second in-game. You know what, I won't even continue because Avarice Quints are awful in comparison to items like kage's lucky pick, Heart of Gold and philosopher's stone. Quints of Fortitude would do you better.

2) Quints of Swiftness? D: Why?

3) Flat mana runes are silly. It's even worse that you've decided to go Marks of Mana, considering those are Secondary Runes.

4) Infuse = infinite mana, why do you have mana regen runes. Runes that you should have on Soraka (or any mana support champion): Cooldown, health, magic penetration.

5) Your Ability Sequencing is all over the place. As I said in another review, level up the most important, or simultaneously level two abilities and leave the last for last.

So in the case of Soraka: R > W & E > Q

6) Why not Doran's Ring over Doran's Shield?

7) No early Spirit Visage?

8) If you wanted gold/5, you could stack Kage's, or buy the other two items (Kage's, HoG and Philosopher's are pretty good on support, imho)

9) You decided to go Mage Soraka, but didn't go for the 15% Magic Pen in the offense tree?

10) It is really hard to read your Summoner Spells section due to the continuous colour changes and brightness of said colours. Only the spells themselves should be in colour - the rest should be white, or at least colours that don't hurt the reader's eyes.

11) Don't list spells that you wouldn't take. Why mention them?

12) With cooldown runes, you should be spamming Infuse as much as possible.

Wrath's Katarina Guide
Verdict: Extremely informative Kat guide. Very detailed and in-depth.
Possible Improvements: Needs to really work on organising the information in the guide into relevant sections. Needs some coding (ie, make Shunpo into Shunpo), needs some colour. Great guide though! Really informative, you really learn a lot by reading this. However, its layout at the moment makes your information conveyance redundant quite a few times and often confusing with paragraphs saying "use your ult when you feel the time is right" when you haven't even described the ult o.O


Constructive Criticism:

1) Wow, 9/21/0? I can see why you've chosen this way of allocation (the whole having no mana thing), but I really do think you're possibly making a mistake due to missing on the Awareness mastery in the utility section.

As hitting level 6 is imperative to most champions, I wouldn't trade the extra xp gain for anything else. Enemy Ashe hits 6 first? Arrow to the face. Enemy Kat hits level 6 first? Tower dive with Death Lotus and that could be First Blood.

2) Love your banner. Xiaowiriamu is awesome ^^

3) I think your "Hey you know solomid.net" section... is in the wrong place. Chuck it at the bottom, we want to read the guide on MobaFire, not go somewhere else.

4) D: Excessive centring of text D: D: D:

5) Not sure if you need the abbreviations section.

6) Your AP vs AD section should be elsewhere. Yes, it's interesting, but is it really relevant? Put it after the FAQ section/near the conclusion. I'm still trying to do this with my guide - moving the less useful information away from the main guide - I don't want people to get stuck reading a block of text straight up, and neither should you ^^

7) Shunpo isn't a Teleport, it's a Flash :P Also, why is this randomly located here? Put it in your abilities section. It doesn't matter that it's more descriptive than the other ones. It shouldn't be randomly floating around in the middle of nowhere :3 Also, you don't mention that Kat can Shunpo to wards.

8) Not sure if your Farming section is necessary. You could cut and paste that info into the description of Bouncing Blades and hey presto! Your guide is a tad neater ^^

9) I dislike the way you've organised your guide. You're talking about team work and laning and ganking when you haven't even talked about what summoners Kat should have, or what spells she should have leveled up. Or even what her spells do.

10) Again, I feel as if your Team Work section could be completely copy/pasted into the abilities section under Shunpo. It'd just be neater that way :3

11) "As I said earlier, use your ulti when you know you can do work with it. If you have not done so already, please read through the rest of the guide as well as the section about Kat's ulti to learn when to ulti, and how to do so effectively." This is why the abilities should be before the gameplay. You're telling the reader to read stuff you haven't let them read yet, and expecting them to know what you're talking about ^^

12) Everything after "So, where does Shunpo fall into all of this" should be in your abilities section. That information is an explanation of your skill sequencing, and it details what the abilities do. Just cut and paste in appropriate places. Basically I'm telling you to do all this reformatting because you haven't read over the entire guide with new eyes. I'm new to it, and I'm reading it, and I'm reading the same information said in different words over and over again. If you put all the relevant stuff about Shunpo together, you'll see what I mean, and you'll be able to make a more cohesive, succinct abilities section that will be extremely informative and very very worthwhile to read.

13) All the rhetorical questions are getting on my nerves. It makes me feel:

a) you're being condescending; "you'll be less squishy, which is good, right?"
b) you think I'm a child and needed to be guided; "why do I do this, you ask?"

13) Do you really need the "Don't Take" part? :3

14) You don't suggest Sorcerer's Shoes in your situational items section? o.O

15) Also, lulwut. Why is the Blue Buff section in between your situational items sections?

16) Your section "Tanks? Enemy Heals? NP" should be cut and paste under Preparation.

17) Your section "Quick note on when to use your ulti, and when not to" should be cut and paste under death loctus.

18) Your "Ability Range" screenshots should be cut and paste under the relevant abilities in your Abilities section.

19) Your scores section is just pure awesome. Kudos! :3

20) Also, happy belated Birthday. Why didn't you say something? D:

I can see what you mean for some of them

and no, no sorcs because the CDR proves more helpful, especially since the effect of the void staff gets reduced if you take sorcs too ^^

and defensive masteries also give extra AP, like 25 or so late game, they just prove so more useful than utility ^^

also, AP vs AD imma keep at the top, since a lot of people question about that, so it is something I like everyone to see first ^^

and the reason why I put all that info at the top, is because I kinda had a "general info at the top, technical info at the bottom" mindset. But I see where you're coming from xD

Guide For: Ezreal, in the jungle.
Why I'd like this to be Reviewed: Because it's different, and kind of new.
What I'd like you to focus on: Everything? It's quite a lot, but it brings up the stuff a ezreal in the jungle needs.

They aren't exactly top of the tier list, but on some supports they work pretty good. I don't think Soraka is one of them though.

Soraka actually has a little mana trouble early on without any extra mana-reg. Using flat MP5 seals OR D ring solves that problem.

Supports need the early GP5 first, but it's a wonderful item on Soraka.

Best GP5 items for Soraka is usually Kage's and HoG(you CAN'T stack GP5 anymore). She doesn't need Philo, but can pick it up if you're building Shurelya's.

Edit: You finish at 6min!? Holy.. Most junglers can manage HALF that jungle time with good runes --.--

Dante's Jungle Shaco Guide
Verdict: Absolutely fantastic jungle Shaco guide. Very well-written and extremely informative about jungling and jungle respawn times.
Possible Improvements: Needs to work on grammar and punctuation (occasionally I'd see something like "and that's it, Then you" - comma should be a full stop. Very minor things). More videos would be awesome. Screenshots of scores you've achieved with this build would be fantastic. Otherwise, great guide, definitely recommend to new (and old!) Shaco players.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Good Hands > Perserverance.

2) In your introduction, perhaps you shouldn't mention your experience with LoL. It doesn't matter to me, but it could matter to others. Plus, is it really necessary?

3) Learn how to imbed videos ^^


4) Wow, very informative Jungle respawn times! Thanks for that, very pretty too.

5) Great skills section, but I feel as if each skill merges into the next due to lack of distinction (the icons are too small)

6) When you talk about "Infinity Itemization", you shouldn't include the items you've already talked about. So remove Mobility Boots ect. Redundancy is bad ^^

7) Very very good and informative jungle route section. All that's missing is a quick numbered over-view map.

omfg, I had a herp-derp moment. Totally didn't mean "stack kage's" :P

Also, Searz, you're stalking this thread. Did you want to be added to the front too (like I did with Adonikam who hasn't yet started reviewing)? Like - you're far more knowledgeable about Runes than I am, so I imagine you'd be far more useful than me in that regard :P

Piksel's Malzahar Guide
Verdict: A decent Malzahar guide that is heading in the right direction towards being highly rated
Possible Improvements: This is a guide that will not only help you play Malz, but learn him as well. Concise and to the point, I enjoyed reading this, and I did learn quite a lot. Needs to work on colour allocation, and coding. Need some image, maybe some screenshots of the build working.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Haunting Guise is extremely expensive for an early game item. For a few extra hundred gold you could buy a Needlessly Large Rod. And seeing as you sell it later on, it doesn't seem intuitive to get it at all.

2) Never mix flat and percentage reduction ( Abyssal Mask and Void Staff)

3) Not sure if your "Disclaimer" is necessary :P

4) You should just replace "It" with Quicksilver Sash ^^

5) Coding mistake: "If you cast [[Malefic visions] on someone, the little fella will go after him."

6) Should mention that Call of the Void reveals brush when cast into it.

7) D: That fluro green is so awful on the eyes.

8) Coding error: "I start with icon=Doran's ring size=64 to get the bonus AP"

9) Very nice guide. It's a great start to what I can see becoming a top rated guide ^^

Besides, if I were to state my honest opinion on the guides I'd call half of them bad, because I'm painfully honest >.>
