Gwadzila's Multiple-Build Gragas Guide
Verdict: A decent guide that reveals the versatility of Gragas
Possible Improvements: Needs colour, coding, rearranging and organisation. More tips on general playstyle. No "Skills" section that explains Gragas' abilities. The guide may be too vague as the author is trying to cover too much information - and doesn't convey the same amount a normal, one build guide would do.

1) Waaaaay too many Champ Builds. While it's great you've created a range of different builds to use on Gragas, the build that you use the most/is the most successful should the the build up the top.

List the other builds somewhere in the guide and go over why they are good/when to build that way. Imagine if I was new to MobaFire: What I'm seeing is four different Gragas builds, I'm a new Gragas player, I don't know what I'm doing, and I only ever look at the cheat sheet. But wait... there are four cheat sheets! Which one do I use? Why are there four? D:

2) I've personally never like the champion's backstory in a guide. It's up to you, but the least you could do is clean it up, separate the paragraphs, add some colour, make it readable. At the moment it's a large block of text that immediately deterred me from wanting to read it.

3) You definitely need some colour and so defining font/aspect changes to emphasise what you want to stand out. "Build One: AP or AP tank" should be bold, should be red, should be italicised, should be heading 4. Something to show me that "hey! Look at me! Pay attention" not "k, nothing important here".

4) Your sections are really messy/hard to understand. As you're going over four different builds, I would suggest only four separate sections for those builds.

So your table of contents would be something like:

Introduction
Build One - AP Tank Gragas
Build Two-Support Tank Gragas
Build Three-DPS Gragas
Jungle Gragas??? WAT???
General Gragas Tips
Gragas in 5v5
Gragas in 3v3
Conclusion

In each section have a header of magnitude 4 (or whatever) of each important aspect.

So, under AP Tank Gragas, you'd have the following headings:

The Mindset of AP Tank Gragas
Pros and Cons of AP Tank Gragas
Skill Order and Summoner Spells
Runes
Masteries
Core Items
Rod of Ages first vs. Rabadons first
Other Good Items

I believe this set out would make your guide neater and more comprehensive.

5) Your "Jungle Gragas" section should be expanded - a screenshot of the route would be nice ^^

Trojan's Tristana Guide
Verdict: A very detailed and in-depth guide about Tristana!
Possible Improvements: There's no section describing Tristana's abilities (when should I use her ult? Should I farm creeps with rapid shot?). Some screenshots of the success of the build would be nice. What walls can Tristana jump over?

Constructive Criticism:

1) Greater Seal of Replenishment. Does Tristana really need it? It's also a Secondary Rune, isn't it? If you've chosen Glyphs of Warding, perhaps Armour Seals would be more complimentary?

2) I would always grab Q, W and E in my first 3 levels. This ensures you have at least one level in all abilities. While Rapid Fire doesn't seem that great, clearly you've grabbed Ignite for early game damage - wouldn't an early attack speed bonus be beneficial?

3) Doran's Shield then Doran's Blade? I have never seen this in a guide before. You really should decide which is better. Getting two completely different Doran's items is counter-intuitive. Blade = offensive, shield = defensive. There's a reason why people don't stack Doran's Shields.

4) At first Atma's Impaler made no sense, then the 60 extra damage seemed quite nice. You've got a really interesting build here ^^

5) In your section "Tristana: A Role Explored" you may want to bold/colour your separate leading questions. ie, "Now that we know we should build..."

6) In your "Masteries" section, a screenshot of said mastery allocation would be nice for the visual empathises.

7) You have a "Skill Sequence" section, but no explanation of skills section.

8) You went to the trouble of making a situational item path image - you may as well neaten it up, get rid of all that awkward white space, fill in the background as black for colour clarity.

All in all, a very detailed and informative guide. The only gripe I have about it is the Doran's Shield + Doran's Blade start. It's so bizarre o.O Personally I think Doran's Blade + philosopher's stone would be a better combination.

Lugignaf's Jungle Nasus Guide
Verdict: A viable way to play Jungle Nasus
Possible Improvements: Needs more colour, needs a quick grammar check. Needs some more situational items. Very good skills explanation section - a new Nasus player would learn a lot from it.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Your Summoner Spells leave you with no forms of escape. As much as I love Nasus, I have to admit that as a tank he has next to no survivability, especially when ganked, except his ultimate. You really need to think about taking Ghost or Flash. Wither is Nasus' in-built Exhaust anyway.

2) For Jungle Nasus, I think you've chosen the wrong runes for the job. As Nasus has natural lifesteal, you're going to want to focus on trying to get as much return as possible (which I guess could be achieved with the AD quints and desolation marks). I go armour, cooldown reduction (more Siphoning Strikes and attack speed quints and marks (for 25% attack speed). They aren't great for a laning champ, but for jungle Nasus? They do the job.

3) Your Ability Sequencing is all over the place :/ While yes, you are jungling Nasus, it's still better to go R > Q > W > E.

4) Good core items for Nasus.

5) Love your intro, but centred text gives me a headache.

6) While your "Skills" section is informative, I think that it needs a bit of rearranging. Put the "Dos/Don'ts" sections under each skill to make it more comprehensive, instead of separating them like that.

7) ? "you can effectively last hit a you just hit once" ? "doing this is crucial to learning to stomping with Nasus" ? You need to give this a quick read-through to pick up these silly mistakes.

8) Spirit Fire will break Banshee's Veil bubble.

9) You should mention that Wither is completely gimped by Mercury's Treads. Should also mention that as Wither is basically an Exhaust you should use it in teamfights to shut down the enemy dps carry.

10) Fury of the Sands is extremely acceptable to pop on Dragon/Baron/Blue Buff. The faster you can get those buffs/xp/gold, the sooner you can go back to lane and not be "mia Nasus" to the enemy. There's no reason not to use it when it has such a relatively low cooldown (with glyphs of focus).

11) You could make your Runes section prettier. It's pretty lack-lustre compared to the rest of your guide.

12) It's hard to see the numbers in your "Jungling Order" image.

13) I do believe you should list more possible items. Don't create a guide if you don't want to put effort into it :/

I totally didn't realise how many guides I have to go through.

Here's what I'm up to:

1) Morgana - Nameless
2) Soraka - Nameless
3) Kat - Wrath
4) Shaco - Dante
5) Malz - Pixel
6) Ezreal - Winter
7) Crabgot - Searz
8) Blitz - Orichi
9) Akali - BMB

Gonna take a break ^^

Constructive Criticism:

1) Greater Seal of Replenishment. Does Tristana really need it? It's also a Secondary Rune, isn't it? If you've chosen Glyphs of Warding, perhaps Armour Seals would be more complimentary? no it's not a secondary rune, but yes it's actually very useful/necessary. Tristana relies on her skills a lot early game, and she needs to be able to spamspamspam! It makes it so I don't need a sapphire crystal way early.

2) I would always grab Q, W and E in my first 3 levels. This ensures you have at least one level in all abilities. While Rapid Fire doesn't seem that great, clearly you've grabbed Ignite for early game damage - wouldn't an early attack speed bonus be beneficial? Rapid Fire is almost entirely useless early on, when burst is more vital. I get more damage, and more killing power/lane dominance by leveling up explosive shot/rocket jump. This is one of the things that I was inspired to do by Locodoco.

3) Doran's Shield then Doran's Blade? I have never seen this in a guide before. You really should decide which is better. Getting two completely different Doran's items is counter-intuitive. Blade = offensive, shield = defensive. There's a reason why people don't stack Doran's Shields. Tristana's lane dominance is mostly reliant on AP-scaling spells and magic damage spells, so AD isn't as necessary early on. Also, Doran's shield is best for keeping Tristana in lane until level 6, when she gets unprecedented lane dominance.

4) At first Atma's Impaler made no sense, then the 60 extra damage seemed quite nice. You've got a really interesting build here ^^ thanks! ^_^

5) In your section "Tristana: A Role Explored" you may want to bold/colour your separate leading questions. ie, "Now that we know we should build..." Okay, will do!

6) In your "Masteries" section, a screenshot of said mastery allocation would be nice for the visual empathises. Okay, I'll be sure to do this.

7) You have a "Skill Sequence" section, but no explanation of skills section. Okay, I'll add this.

8) You went to the trouble of making a situational item path image - you may as well neaten it up, get rid of all that awkward white space, fill in the background as black for colour clarity. Yeah I thought I'd need to do that, I'll work on that.

All in all, a very detailed and informative guide. The only gripe I have about it is the Doran's Shield + Doran's Blade start. It's so bizarre o.O Personally I think Doran's Blade + philosopher's stone would be a better combination. I get more than enough farm to warrant a philo stone - it'll set me back. I already explained the doran's shield thing, but I'll test the two comparisons.

Nice thing you are doing. My hat is off to you.

Guide For: Vlad and Jarvan
Why I'd like this to be Reviewed: To see what I might have missed in this post nerf world for vlad.
What I'd like you to focus on: Nothing specific. Any possible upgrades. The Vlad guide is very short compared to my previous 2 guides. Especially compared to my first Vlad guide. The Jarvan one... a bit longer...
Guide Links: Vlad and Jarvan
Did I manage to assist you in any way? Hook me up by hitting that nifty +Rep button.

All guides have been archived due to my not being able to play LoL currently. The information is still there and is good but until I return they will be archived. I am able to keep them updated and current though.

Vladimir's Blood Resource. Designed for beginner's and beyond.
Vladimir's Blood Resource: Post Nerf Edition.
The Exemplar of Tanking: Jarvan IV .

Making a Guide by jhoijhoi This is everything you need to know about making a guide. Amazing.

...and Buffy staked Edward. The End.

Nameless Bard's Morgana Guide
Verdict: A solid Morgana Guide
Possible Improvements: Needs more time spent on the aesthetics of the guide. More information needed for gameplay and for the item choices. Needs more tricks and tips - this guide told me how to build Morgana, but it didn't teach me how to play her.

Constructive Criticism:

1) Your Ability Sequencing is all over the place. Choose the ability you think is most important and then level it up first. Or, choose the two most important abilities and level them up simultaneously.

So: QWEQQR, or: QWEQWR for example.

2) I'm not quite sure of the relevance of the video in your intro :P I was expecting some Morgana gameplay, not... that montage ^^

3) Pros and Cons could use some colour, you need to also tidy up some of the uncapitalised points. Perhaps have "+" for the pros and "-" for the cons.

ie:

Pros:
+ Deals immense damage

Cons:
- Tends to be squishy

4) I'd order the Summoner Spells from good to bad, not the other way around. Also, use the coding. ie: Revive as opposed to Revive. This section also needs to be neatened up. Spend some time making your guide a tad more attractive :)

5) You may want to expand your "Skills" section, as it's very sparse.

6) In your items section you should be explaining the items and what they do. What do Sorcerer's Shoes do for Morgana? What does Zhonya's Hourglass do? Why is that a core item? What is Deathfire Grasp? When do I use it?

7) Your "Runes" section is lacklustre. No colour or coding. You need to liven up most of your guide. Make the reader want to read it.

8) Same as above for your Masteries section. A screenshot of your Mastery Set-up would be beneficial here.

9) You have no summary.

People have told me that. I will definitely change these.

I have found that out as of recent. The one AS rune got me through better than the setup I had there. I have yet to change this and will update it ASAP.

I really need to standardize it and put another section on skill order later on.

The centering was just so people would pay attention to it and it's really my personal preference.

You didn't see that.... Ty for pointing it out for me.

jhoijhoi wrote:

I honestly had no idea. I thought AoE couldn't pop BV.

jhoijhoi wrote:

I kind of mentions the Merc treads part in the Dos/Don'ts of wither. I have had people tell me that it is a second Exhaust and said "I know why you do bot matches now".

I don't like wasting ults unless it's Lux's or something else with a really short CD. I'll throw in gylphs of focus as an alt.

jhoijhoi wrote:

I'm not quite the rune master. It's like that in all my guides really and It's something I aim to improve.

jhoijhoi wrote:

I threw that image together in 10 minutes or so. It's not hard to see why you can't see it.

jhoijhoi wrote:

I will try. I just don't think there are a ton of items you can put on Nasus at the moment to make him insanely better and still a tank but, I will look into it.

Well, you should use your ult for lvl 11 baron or lvl 6 golem buff, but otherwise, it is not needed.
