uhmm went a bit c4d mad, not much really to say^^...
few criticisms myself, c4d right his head, too bright, needs deleting. uhmm....the c4d spark below his eye is a bit annoying.....i didnt render the image too well.....bubble c4d? why? :D...uhmmm bottom right of the render...yeah fail rendering ftw:D probably want to be smudging that area sort of improve the flow.....depth is also all over the place.....wow this sig isn`t my best^_^ probably spend a bit more time.....still looks good imo^_^
EDIT:

ANY TUTS?
Thanks to JhoiJhoi for these wonderful stamps! Go check her out! :D
I think Xiao's tutorials should be added to the Tutorial Corner because almost all of us here learnt from his tutorials. I'll go bump his resource thread though, in the mean time ^^
new STYLE! havn't done smudge in ages, thought i'll experiment a few things, this is just a test for my smudge settings:

and lol thanks ! glad my tutorials help:)
@Combat yeah i got many in my resource, you don't really want a tut for that graves sig though, nothing special just c4d's behind a render <3!!!

I think the background needs a little work to match the render, and it looks like you may have sharpened the render a little too much.

Ok! Yeah, I have problems with backgrounds in general, can never find a nice one, or can never seem to use one to it's fullest potential. I don't see how people can use any image and make it nice T.T.
Yeah, it did look too sharpened too, just thought I was over analyzing things. >.<
Well I started with making my own backgrounds. Little bits of color and brush layers. Now I use clipping masks in conjunction with fractals to create interesting shapes and affects. It takes a lot of practice to really get into it though. There are a lot of ways to approach each piece finding a technique you like and then using it over and over again is one way to get started.
Ill create a tutorial tonight when I get home explaining what I've been doing recently to generate the energy effects for my newer works. Its rather simple but its possible people might want to see what I've been doing. I'm no where as amazing as other people out there but it helps to experiment a lot.
