Kassadin hardcounters most mages due to his passive and target silence. His early game isn't as bad as people think and he can outdamage most mages by level 3.Kass gets beat pretty hard in lane. That is what I said before. Also,
Kassadin's laning phase isn't as bad as people think; especially when your jungler comes to interfere. I agree on the fact you don't have to ban him every game; but stating that he is countered by mages is just complete bs that doesn't make one bit of sense.

Ryze and Kass are both weak early game but Ryze is scarier mid to late. Roaming potential isn't as strong but wards are a necessity. Kennen is such a strong champion, ult when he's about to Riftwalk because it's often apparent when someone is going aggressive or passive. Never ever lost to a
Kennen with Kassadin. Cleanse + Riftwalk make Kennen's abilities useless against him; and well.. Null Sphere shuts him down just as hard. Ryze is quite easy to beat with Kassadin. After, level six you zone him out hard.

Kassadins commit to Null Sphere > Riftwalk > Force Pulse combo so much it's disgusting. Null Sphere literally travels in slow motion compared to other spells.The delay for
Riftwalk and the predicability of the combo is stupid.Anyone with a skill that can be 'prepared' will destroy
Kassadin even post-6. There's nothing you can do about the animations because that's up to Riot to decide.Regarding this,
Kassadin really needs a decrease in casting time and an increase in projectile speed.
