"every now and again you come across a game that has so little emotional connection to who you are that you end up standing there, gazing at the screen and saying "I'm just pressing buttons and my life has no meaning,"" - Colin Campbell
I agree with Tosh, Dark Souls should have been game of the year. Like, the game was so amazing that to me, the simple fact that it didn't get game of the year is mind blowing, LET ALONE the fact that it didn't get nominated.
Honestly was one of the best games I've ever played, almost went out and bought a PS3 just to play Demon Souls...
@Canoas, most things are preference, but armor is definately flawed. I mean, there's a perk in heavy armor that makes heavy armor weigh nothing, and not slow you down at all. It essentially becomes the same as light armor, while having better resistances.
Also, something that I didn't even notice until now, is that there are no classes. o.o
Like everyone else, I'm not saying it's a bad game, just that it isn't what I had hoped, and I doubt I'll play it nearly as much as I played Oblivion.

THIEVES GUILD

Thanks to The_Nameless_Bard for the sig!
There is absolutely no way that theives guild or DB armor can compare to a full set of enchanted Daedric, nothing can because heavy armor is OP. It was OP in Oblivion, and they made it MORE OP in Skyrim with the Conditioning perk.
I haven't gotten to it yet, but if it's anything like Oblivion (assuming it is, because basically everything is) the DB gear will be incredibly strong early game, and then fall off when better heavy armor becomes avalable.
Oh, and another thing wrong with this game is the Ebony Blade. I haven't gotten it yet, and don't plan on using it when I do, but that is game-breakingly OP. It's like walking around with
Cannibalism as a passive effect.

After around 8 months of owning it, I'm finally gonna try out Skyrim.
Hopefully it's not as disappointing as I think it's gonna be.
Wish me luck :D
It wont, trust me!
