So, first datas are out here:

I would say he is a similar version to Malphite, which scales better with AP and has HP as cost system instead of mana. His jungling should be very strong. He shouldn't stack armor, he should stack HP for defense. His base health is very good, at the top of the list. Also: 12.5 (+0.55) HP/5, basically the highest in the game. This means, he will only have sustain problems if he doesn't use his passive. Of course, an early Hextech Revolver is a must, similar to Mordekaiser or Vladimir. Other items I would get should favor AP and HP, namely Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Liandry's Torment. Of course, league of Warmog's Armor, especially because you will need the passive. Spirit Visage is a must have aswell because it scales with his passive, high base regen and Warmog's Armor. For boots, either Sorcerer's Shoes for offense or Ninja Tabi/ Mercury's Treads for defense. On him, I would upgrade Hextech Revolver into Will of the Ancients, because he is more orientated into helping his team rather than profit for himself. Or sell it for Randuin's Omen later.

I think he's more like Amumu, myself. He's got a long range engagement, a CC AoE ultimate, a % max HP skill...but I think he should stack armor and HP. His skills don't have a static HP cost like other champions do; they're based off % current HP, which means it won't hurt to build armor.

But HP would scale with the max HP passive, with Warmog's Armor passive which then scales with Spirit Visage, which gives HP aswell. Randuin's Omen or Sunfire Aegis should be enough for armor. Or Locket of the Iron Solari if you like that more.

all costs in %hp really hurt and will make him have a hard balance, like Dr. Mundo.
either way.

Spirit Visage sounds interesting.
i really don't see AP so profitable, except for Abyssal Mask

also the gains from his passive don't make up for his ability costs. i think it will be changed.

When i built him I just did a " Malphite" build of sunfire abyssal and **** like that. Seemed to work out fine.

Why would they?

I mean, if you want the skill costs to feel impactful, of course your passive isn't going to recover all of the cost. Just remember, if you hit multiple enemies, it drops multiple chunks.

Look at every other health champ though, Vladimir has tiny tiny health costs. Atleast I never notice them. Dr. Mundo only really burns health when he leaves his fire on forever and then he has a massive healing steroid he doesnt have to move around for.

I feel like Zac's passive and health costs are counter-intuitive to what he is; a tank.

from what i saw in the vids, that is not true, although the text seems to imply otherwise.
ganking at extreme, demanding a 12%hp upfront to recover 4%, is rather stupid. not to speak of the remaining 10% of the other 2 abilities. you'll have a deficit of 10%hp, regardless the laner hitting you or not.

better nerf Irelia... and not gank.

edit: fun fact 1, seems that he has double Dr. Mundo's base hp regen. Warmog's Armor+ Spirit Visage please.
fun fact 2, riot's only multiplicative factor seems to be 2.
