Climbing the ladder from Bronze V - Nordensgaard

In general, when im playing as [[Maokai]] im actually paying alot of attention on counterjungling, and warding in their jungle to keep track of their jungler and eventually gank top, while hes running around mid wraiths. Now, in some cases, i dont get to play [[Maokai]] Jungle, either because someone wants to jungle, or [[maokai]] gets banned, i usually go for the mid lane and play [[Anivia]]. for some reason, i think [[Anivia]]'s overall mobility, playstyle, kit reminds alot of [[maokai]]'s, both of them has massive slowing, cc, and aoe-spamable ultimates. love it. and whenever im playing in ANY lane, i play VERY passive, just farm, farm, farm.. wait for enemy to get too bored, overextend, or play too aggressive, and then engage or go for a trade. A little note to people having troubles climbing the ladder, my advices would be; first, the usual ones.. Be positive in your game, do NOT flame your teammates, try to keep them positive and make them communicate. your mentallity has a huge influence on your game. so try to keep it up. Now, what my experience has learned me so far: Try to chat less in game, and focus on only chatting if its nessecary. -- when you're writing ANYTHING, even a little SS you're not paying attention to your Cs'ing, what happens on the map, or how your recall is going. Try to focus on as few champions as you can, since.. the more you play a champion, the better you will be at it. Try to main one role, and my best advice for this, DO NOT main mid, top or ADC. simply because thats the lanes, everyone wants to play. so you will most likely not get to play those roles. Go jungle, do one champ e.g. [[Maokai]] or go supporting, [[Leona]] and [[Janna]] is the 'funniest' and 'best' supports in my opinion right now. if you choose to play leona, REMEMBER THIS! 8/10 Leona supports i play with, DO NOT KNOW or FORGETS that her E goes THROUGH minions and will pull you to your target. Also, this blog thing, seems to work really well for me atleast. after i started blogging these, and writing a little inbetween each game, i actually find myself playing better, it gives me the time to think about my calls, my builds and so on. so i HIGHLY suggest you all to start doing a 'ranked diary'. Anyways, my setup for all roles: 1. Jng; [[Maokai]]/[[Jax]] 2. Mid; [[Syndra]]/[[Anivia]] 3. Sup; [[Janna]]/[[Maokai]] 4. Top; [[Jax]]/[[Pantheon]] 5. ADC; [[Miss Fortune]] My starting point when starting this 'Elo climb diary' is: League: Bronze V LP : 55 Currently im at: League: Bronze IV LP : 15 [h4]Stat picture is comming...[/h4] ---------- Okay, i did do some posts in the blog, as i mentioned earlier in this post. you can go check it out? its really nothing special, besides me writing about 2 different games, the most epic game i ever had, and also the game i won when i got into promotion. [h1][color=#ffffff]Bronze V Series[/color][/h1] [h2][color=#ffff00]Series - The first time[/color][color=#ffff00][/color][/h2] Match 1 out of three was a [color=#00ff00]WIN[/color] [h4][i]Game One - Press the spoiler to read about it.[/i][/h4] [Spoiler]My game was as [[Anivia]] Mid, against a [[Twisted Fate]]. i actually tried this before, so its a fairly even matchup. He couldnt really trade me because of Q + E comb W + AA AA, so he was just playing passive and farming. he actually turned out, to out farm me, since [[Twisted Fate]] is a natural pusher, i couldnt really push him too hard back without eating too much mana, but yea, as i said.. i won that game. My final build, when winning was; [[Boots of speed]], [[Blasting Wand]], [[Tear of the Goddess]], [[Athene's Unholy Grail]], and [[Ruby Crystal]]. and my endgame score was 0/0/18.[/spoiler] Match 2 out of 3 was a [color=#ff0000]LOSE[/color] so my next game will be really important for me. [h4][i]Game Two - Press the spoiler to read about it.[/i][/h4] [Spoiler]i actually blame my ADC for this loss, since, well.. we dominated them in the lane phase, had some troubles top, but mid/bot smashed it, Mid game we won, 101% we pushed everything down and everything went well. Late game, we was also winning, really really hard (Note that this is a 56:11 game.) But then, we got a baron buff, and my team started to throw the game, including me. we all overextended, so the enemy team had the chance to push us back, which they did.. downed our mid inhib. BUT THEN.. (This is where i believe we lost the game imo.) We got a ACE out, and my 14/9/8 [[Quinn]], with Berserkers, [[The Bloodthirster]], [[Infinity Edge]], [[Blade of the ruined king]], [[Phantom Dancer]], [[Guardian Angel]].. Went bot lane and farmed. [color=#ff0000] - Instead of following me up to turret, let me tank turret, get inhib. So thank you Quinn. She literally, wasted an ACE on what? 25 CS.[/color] Anyways, how i see MY OWN play. i was abit too overextended this game, abit too aggressive. i ended up with a 5/11/22 score, WAAY too many deaths. and i was too late to start counterbuilding. They had [[Gangplank]] and [[Varus]], with massive AD, and i rushed armor ([[Iceborn Gauntlet]], and [[Thornmail]]) but i totally forgot about their [[Brand]], so he literally one hitted me. so the loss, is not just on [[Quinn]], but also because of some of my mistakes. i went a bit offense with my build this game. Turned out to be: [[Spirit of the Spectral Wraith]]. [[Iceborn Gauntlet]] [[philosopher's stone]] <-- one of my early items. [[Spirit Visage]] [[Boots of mobility]] <--- early game ganking advantage, also for chasing Late game. [[Thornmail]]. We started out by invading their blue buff, we no kills <-- no one was there, and we got teir buff. Mid was a very passive lane pre-6 for [[akali]], she seemed to be afraid of trading with me for my Q + E comb. after she hitted level 6, she killed me and started snowballing. Our [[twitch]] got the first blood, and had 4 kills after 14 minutes. i didnt see any enemy junling activity pre-6 either. Mid game; While [[akali]] was snowballing, i saw the opportunity to shut down mid turret, so i went for it and it succeded without any troubles, then i went top to help our [[pantheon]] to push, didnt get the turret down but i got a killed, i also died so it was a 1 for 1 trade. right after that, i went top again, to try and push it while some 2v2/3v3 tf's was going on in the mid lane, [[nautilus]] came and helped me, i got 2 kills, 2 turrets downed, and i died. - [[Twitch]] had 13 kills, and 4 deaths at this point. Late game: Our [[twitch]], chose NOT TO PUSH and go for a extremely solo play, (i believe he tried to get more fed? i do NOT udnerstand why.) so i had to go for a defence build, specially because of their [[akali]] was simply destroying me with her comb. ... turned out, that i lost the game, [[twitch]] threw it so hard. he didnt push or come in any TF's, and the few TF's he was in, he was positioning like shit, and got insta-killed. [[Veigar]] started with [[Doran's ring]]. [[Elise]] went for a early mid gank (Level 3) but she missed every single ability, so i got away without any troubles. i actually went for a super early [[Mercury's Treads]] with the alacrity (movement speed) upgrade to them, because they had 4 CC champs, 4 of them went AP and all of their CC is a skill shot. and i was building Magic resist, over AP this game. - i was kinda afraid of building AP because of Veigar's ultimate. Mid game; They have ZERO map pressure. they did okay in the early/mid game teamfights, but from there we destroyed them. Our first ace was at 25:27, at this point we was 12 kills ahead, and 3 turrets. at around 36 minutes in, we still had all of our turrets up and they didnt give us any map pressure, doing any backdoors or trying to push us back, and at this point they had lost 2 top turrets, 2 bot turrets, all mid turrets and inhib. late game; we was simply destroying them, we had no troubles with their hard CC, or any map pressure. i only had one problem, their [[Tristana]] her ultimate simply smashed me. a fight between me and her: i Q, stun her go for an E then i wall her and R so she wont run. - Trying to spam E's here. She simply jumps on me, which leads to my ult getting cancled, and i missed my Q, which makes me deal zero damage, and she smashed me. <-- [[Ezreal]] saved me with hes ult while i was the eggnivia. my build at ending game was: [[Mercury's Treads]], [[Seraph's Embrace]], [[Zhonya's Hourglass]], [[Athene's Unholy Grail]] and [[Abyssal Scepter]] end game teamscore: [color=#00ff00]58/31/67[/color] for my team [color=#ff0000]30/58/34[/color] enemy team [/spoiler] [h3][color=#808000]I'm now playing in Bronze IV[/color][/h3] Match 2 out of 3 was a [color=#00ff00]WIN[/color] [h4][i] Game two - Press the spoiler to read about it[/i][/h4] [spoiler] [picks team1="Ally" team2="Enemy" float=""] [ban team="1" champion="Amumu"] [ban team="1" champion="Kassadin"] [ban team="1" champion="Fizz"] [ban team="2" champion="Blitzcrank"] [ban team="2" champion="Hecarim"] [ban team="2" champion="Diana"] [pick team="1" player="Nordensgaard" champion="Anivia" role="AP"] [pick team="1" player="T 2" champion="Corki" role="AD"] [pick team="1" player="T 3" champion="Taric" role="S"] [pick team="1" player="T 4" champion="Elise" role="J"] [pick team="1" player="T 5" champion="Malphite" role="T"] [pick team="2" player="E 1" champion="Caitlyn" role="AD"] [pick team="2" player="E 2" champion="Orianna" role="AP"] [pick team="2" player="E 3" champion="Shen" role="S"] [pick team="2" player="E 4" champion="Teemo" role="T"] [pick team="2" player="E 5" champion="Xin Zhao" role="J"] [/picks] Early game; Okay, i was against [[Orianna]], and shes a really good pick against [[Anivia]]. but she was a terrible [[Orianna]], i simply smashed her with my Q + E comb every time i could, i was forced to play aggressive against her. but i worked out really well. i started with [[Crystalline Flask]], 1x [[mana potion]] and 1 [[sight ward]] [[Crystalline flask]] and the [[mana potion]] was to have some health/mana regen, overall lane sustain, and [[sight ward]] to prevent [[Xin Zhao]] to level 2 gank me (he usually starts red.) i couldnt get a kill out on [[Orianna]], simply because of her shield blocking every single time i ignited her. but she couldn't get a kill on me either, so i just tried to zone her with my R while harassing her with Q + E comb. mid game; At this point, i actually thought we would lose the game. mainly because of our [[Elise]] started to facecheck bushes when warding, and doing some bad calls on trying to help me, while im getting smashed by [[caitlyn]] and [[Orianna]]. but yea, then [[corki]] who was doing REALLY bad early game, suddenly went invisible in teamfights, and he just smashed it. <-- Gj [[Corki]] late game; Nothing really big happend in the late game, once we had the ace, we just went in to end game. didn't work the first time, then we did a baron bait (popping a purple ward there, destroying theirs, and they see it, then we hide in bush.. they facecheck, and then.. [[malphite]] did an amazing ultimate on them, popped their ENTIRE team up in the air. and i popped my ult, and.. bam, ace. end game. my endgame build: [[Boots of mobility]], with the Alacrity buff (Massive movement speed), [[Banshee's veil]], [[abyssal scepter]], [[Athene's unholy grail]], and ofc. [[Seraph's Embrace]] Now, i know [[boots of mobility]] is a really odd choice for [[Anivia]], or overall an APC. But i actually needed these in this game, i couldn't escape from anyone, or catch up with my team without these. so in my opinion, they were the best choice for me, in this game. Now, why did she get out harassed, simply because she was too aggressive in her lane. she never listened to calls, or was in teamfights. and tbh, the only thing i saw her say EVER was in champion select: Plz Ash ADC!!!!!!! ... dam... wtf... vs Nasus - jungle Draven - adc Darius - top Ahri - mid Sona - support Already here, i got a basic idea of my build, im going to get a blade of the ruined king instead of blood thirster, since nasus/darius probably is going to stack hp. im going to get a frozen heart, because they have 3 melee AD's. if Ahri gets too fed, im going to get a Maw (something..?)
