Which Yi build will be the best?
New Yi will be built with heavy AD +
Youmuu's Ghostblade. He will be played like AP Yi is played now except he won't have a heal but he will have DPS after his Q.
It's really THAT simple. Regardless of which lane he goes in that's what he'll do I'm pretty sure. But I think jungle makes the most sense because a CC-less champion with weak sustain (from what I've seen) is never going to have a good time laning. Also his new jungle speed is so f**king dumb that it'd be stupid not to use it.

So Percy you think his new playstyle will match the playstyle of AP Yi? I agree with you, but would like a little more insight if you wouldn't mind. I agree that massive AD will be more beneficial than AS, but what are your thoughts on crit? Will you invest into shiv or simply rely on his ultimate + ghostblade?
+Rep me if i'm useful!
Yeah crit gives him burst as well so it's amazing. The only crit items I'd get would be
Youmuu's Ghostblade,
Infinity Edge and maybe
Statikk Shiv. Still not sure about shiv.
I can't tell you what my build will be yet but I will certainly test
Statikk Shiv and also try more tanky oriented builds to see if it works.
Sorry for vague response :3
EDIT: Maybe Shiv instead of Youmuu's... idk

Hey Percy, that build is very similar to the build I used by now.^^
If you build Shiv over Youmuu's you get 5% crit and a proc, but loose 30 AD, 20 armorpen and 10% CDR. I don't think that is really worth it, especially because of the armorpen.
Also, Final Yi is back? Nice to hear that.
Final Yi in S3:

I remember my old S2 Final Yi guide, the best guide I ever made. And now, after the Yi rework, he will have true dmg and
Blade of the Ruined King, which increases the power of it by a great amount.
Also, do not forget:
Assassin Skin = AD Assassin Yi
Chosen Skin = Lifesteal Yi
Ionia Yi = Final/Bruiser Yi
Samurai Yi = DPS Yi
Headhunter Yi = Backdoor Yi
And the more and more I use the new
Meditate, I start to like it. I now max it second after
Alpha Strike and
Wuju Style last, as % dmg and true dmg are more something for lategame.

The changes to
Highlander really support Percy's argument. He doesn't have to activate it to get his resets, so when he does need AS he'll absolutely have it. Maybe
Greater Quintessence of Life Steal would be a nice choice considering the need for early sustain and him already having clearing power built into his kit?

I still swear on my
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed and my no boots build, because 1 more real item lategame offers a huge amount of either increased damage or defense.
