What do you think of MobaFire's Scouting System?

in a real world situation, if a job gives you a ****ty non functional tool, you don't not work until someone makes you a better tool, you use the ****py tool until some dev can be ***ed to improve it.
So what if we developed our own tool? We tried discussing a scouting criteria, but a lot of people had a problem with that. In the end, it seems that despite the scout system having the ultimate goal of "displaying the best on MobaFire", scouts don't want to work together to fulfill that common aim. No one can agree on a set of rules or regulations regarding scouting. Some scouts want to scout anonymously, some scouts want to give feedback, some scouts don't even use their scouting powers.
If the dev team can't rehaul the system, how about we try? Is there anything that we can do to become a united front? Reach some sort of agreement about how everyone should scout and why?

If we continue the real world example, your criteria sheet thread was basically like emailing everyone in the company and asking them what they thought. Like, if you want to go make a tool yourself, do it. It doesn't have to be perfect at version one. In fact the majority of internal programs never make it to the light of day.
