Sorry this is delayed, I haven't been playing that much and I should update since I've let the last patch settle down (ken/jayce nerfs)

Not much has really changed, but the list should be at least once a month...Don't ***** at me for not changing much. Kennen is still a very dominant lane bully, but the nerf was significant and the tier list reflects it.

I'm gonna take a short break from Ranked and practice some champs. Two reasons: 1) my wife was gone to a training all week so I was able to play enough to get all of my placement matches in this week and 2) my internet has been pretty solid and I had several periods where I lagged a lot last night. I might play one Monday since I had to take the day off to get a recall on her car fixed, but other than that, it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I try ranked again.

I had a lot of yard work to do last night, so it was late before I got on. I decided instead of Ranked I would try a couple of champs. First, i tried out Rumble again. I really wanna get good with him, but I suck at CSing with him. That and I forgot that I needed to turn smartcast for his ult off. First time Nidalee tower dove I could have gotten a kill on her too, but my ult didn't go off.

If you already read my Udyr guide, you will know, that I posted an experimental build there, because only if you search for new builds, you will find the best. And so many unkown builds (Blue Ezreal, lol) got through testing like this possible and popular, before that, somebody would have flamed you for building that.

So, lets start with my first experimental build. I latelty was thinking about a super tanky top laner which has high base damage and great cc, but isn't really played there. I found one: Alistar. As you know,

First thing to note: I'm unranked. I'm trying to master more difficult techniques before I throw my hand at ranked. I'd also like to stand on equal ground against some Silver-ranked friends or be able to occasionally beat my Gold-ranked friends. Part of this preparation is understanding how the ranked system works. This is what I've deduced so far about LP Clamping.

So from what I understand, LP clamping occurs //specifically// when a ranked player is ready to move up a tier (ie, bronze I to silver V, platinum I to diamond V). It may or may not occur between the individual divisions, as it might be a weakened pull for division changes.

The trigger for LP clamping is when there is a set "average" or "minimum" MMR (player skill level) that the player ready to move into the division does not meet the requirement for. That is to say, a Silver I player who is LP-ready to move into Gold V does not meet the MMR requirement for Gold V and/or Gold Tier.

I've been thinking about changing my summoner name for a long, long time. Together with my buddy harakoniwhawk (as he was called back then), I once thought about some cool names, at a time when the name change was on sale. Eventually, he became Gabriel Santar. I am still Wayne3100. The reason? It's simple: I have no new name I like.

To be honest, I don't think there's much wrong with Wayne3100. I like the number, I like my own name :3 It's what I always use, I fill it in automatically, because I'm used to it... It's me.

However, there also lies the problem. As I said, it's what I always use. It's boring. Bland. Uncreative. Unexciting. Now, something inside me cries for change. Something new, something fresh. Something like... A cool fantasy name, a clever name / wordplay, or even a funny and slightly troll name (not one I'll start hating after a while, though).

Who knows, maybe, if someone comes up with a brilliant suggestion and I'm in the shop, going for that…

Went home last night after work and finished off my placement matches. The friend I had Duo Queued with was on so we tried again. Instead of using his regular account he used another friends Smurf that was Bronze 2, I believe. The first game I tried to Twisted Fate mid and got stuck against a Syndra that was good. He was really good at stunning me and the rest of my team didn't do very well either. I actually had a chance to try and counter pick

I got bored and decided I'd start up a sort of regular blog...thing...on my blog...updated whenever. Rage Tales: Looking back at rage and seeing if it was justified. I know I could just go to the qq thread, but it's not my rage that's going here nor am i raging about rage. Its just the memorable times when someone showered me with rage.

1st Tale: Why don't you have a support.

Years ago, I fought my way to lvl 30 by doing nothing but mastering Riven and all her abilities, builds, hell I even have her cooldowns memorized to the fraction of a second. That doesn't fly in the real world, obviously. I ended up playing a game with one of my dearest friends and I ended up as the support role. Thing is, the closest thing I had to a support at the time is Darius. Short version, we lost. Long version, we got destroyed.

I pick this story not because the rage is totally my fault and entirely justified but because my dear friend was doing his best not to end our friendship over a single bad game.…
