Introduction

Hey, I'm Kasugunai and welcome to my guide. I've been playing League of Legends since August 2010, having peaked Challenger rank 2 in April 2018.

I have been doing individual coaching (multiple games) since 2014 and played professionally for nearly a year from September 2015 to May 2016. Earlier last year I started my path to a more serious career in League of Legends esports, having worked in the German national league (ESLM) as an analyst for 2 weeks, in the Portuguese one (DreamcupPT) as a coach for 1 month and most importantly as the Head Analyst for Beşiktaş Esports in TCL 2019 Summer.

I took a break from esports until the end of this year's spring split for personal reasons, so in the meantime I figured I could write some short guides to assist people looking for updated setups and gameplay.

Getting Started

Before anything else, I want to make it clear that my guides are highly focused on how to play the champion to its highest level so I won't go into general concepts. For that you'd need to look up an extensive general guide but even then, it might be too much to cover without a proper coaching session.

Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments, I usually reply within a day unless I'm away from home. Alternatively, in the case that I'm live, you can also tune into my stream and ask me any questions and I'll answer if I'm not in-game.

All the information in my guides comes from working with professional players or dedicated champion mains.

Abilities

Lightslinger (Passive)

INNATE: After using an ability, 's next basic attack within 3 seconds shoots twice, the second shot dealing 50 / 55 / 60% (based on level) AD physical damage, increased to 100% AD against minions.

The second shot applies on-hits and on-attack effects at full effect and is affected by critical strike modifiers.

If 's primary target is killed before the second shot can go off, he automatically shoots another enemy in range.

is not consumed and does not trigger the second basic attack if is silenced.

Effect Radius: 1000
Cast Time: 0.4 − 0.25 (based on level)
Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 mana
Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5

ACTIVE: fires a laser in the direction of the target enemy, dealing 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 / 225 (+ 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120% bonus AD) physical damage to all enemies hit in a line.

Ability Details:

Ardent Blaze (W)

Target Range: 900
Cast Time: 0.25
Cost: 70 mana
Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10

ACTIVE: fires a shot that explodes in a cross pattern upon hitting an enemy or reaching the end of its path, dealing 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 / 215 (+ 90% AP) magic damage and revealing the area for 1 second.

Enemies hit are marked for 6 seconds.

gains 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 bonus movement speed for 1 second if he or allied champions damage a marked target.

Ability Details:

Relentless Pursuit (E)

Target Range: 425
Cast Time: None
Cost: 40 / 30 / 20 / 10 / 0 mana
Cooldown: 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 / 14

PASSIVE: 's cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each shot landed, doubled to 2 seconds against enemy champions.

ACTIVE: dashes in the target direction.

resets 's basic attack timer.

can be cast during and other abilities can be cast during .

Ability Details:

The Culling (R)

Target Range: 1200
Cast Time: None
Cost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 110 / 100 / 90

ACTIVE: rapidly fires 20 / 25 / 30 shots in the target direction for 3 seconds, dealing 20 / 40 / 60 (+ 25% AD) (+ 10% AP) physical damage to the first enemy they collide with. The damage is doubled against enemy minions. can be recast after 1 second.

While using , always faces in the casted direction and is ghosted.
