Threats & Synergies
Very tough to lane against with all his displacements. Makes you nearly nonexistent
Pre-6 she's nothing. You harass her out of lane constantly, post 6 her combo can get you or your ADC just be careful for it.
Skill matchup. You can poke him but he can poke you, don't underestimate him you're tanky and he abuses that.
Lots of lockdown and DoT, really annoying for an immobile tank.
He's naut much of a threat tbh
Bursty but you out range with q
Boring lane. You'll get poked a lot but it's not hard.
Really annoying CC for an immobile like you
Nearly every good q is a kill or spells if you get it off with her.
His range steroid with your slow is way more useful than you think
Champion Build Guide
I'm back with another pocket pick of mine Support Mundo! You may have seen this once in a long while as a joke pick but I do legitimately like to play this. It's super fun. Mundo goes where he pleases darnit!
[*] is a continuous damage ability both to yourself and any enemies around you, it stacks quite well with but it's main use is in just how absurdly sticky it makes you. With a 30% reduction in CC effects you're almost always able to keep the enemy slowed enough with for any cc to be nearly voided. HOWEVER REMEBER Both the damage it deals and the damage you take scale when you level it.
[*] is a, frankly absurd ability. It makes you pretty much unkillable to magic damage mid-late, and raises your AD to ungodly amounts all while making your next hit hit like a friggin' truck the more health you have. We max this as our man harass in most lanes due to just how much output it has.
[*] is your ultimate, and a damn fine one at that. You take a large portion of your health to heal a large total of your max health while gaining MS for 12 seconds, stacking w/ your innate regen and any regen you've built you will likely not die once you've popped this. Generally this is your engage, it FORCES you to be focused due to just HOW much output you're going to have on your q e, giving your ADC more than enough leeway to clean up.
Your early game is either REALLY passive or REALLY aggressive depending on a couple of factors: How DoT/CC heavy is their support and how good at dueling is their ADC? You're against a Zyra Lucian? Well the tower's a nice retirement home, I guess. You're against a Nautilus Twitch? I hope they like Cleavers. Cause they're gonna learn to love Cleavers. Remember your cleaver procs Font of Life so your ADC can win some really BS trades with cleaver and Guardian pops.
By this point you're a peeling machine. You're a threat, straight up. you deal a lot of damage but you're also really freaking tanky, they cant ignore you but they CERTAINLY cannot focus you so do your best to pull aggro off your team and be a sticky lil' doctor boi. Your patients need you. Don't be afraid to dive with your ult if you can get free wipes.
You are now an unkillable juggernaut of pure rage and beauty. Look at you, your ADC is getting free wipes because the enemy team Just CANT KILL THE FREAKING MUNDO AAAAAAAAHHHH you're peeling, chasing and popping your actives whenever possible while making sure your team is getting free objectives because you're the center of the enemy teams universe as you have been all game until that nexus comes crumbling down and you have finally cured your patients.
[*] Moved Locket into Example build 1 and now consider it a core:
[*]The buff to locket in 9.20 is absolutely insane for support mundo, you're already so tanky that you take full advantage of it so getting it over abyssal is a no brainer.

Happy New Year everyone! Support Mundo is weaker than ever right now with the way bot lane's meta is rn. Supports who dominate make it really hard for him to exist but it's still a really fun build if you want to clown around, new support items don't effect him too much but Sickle is a nice little addition if you want to play more poke based.
October 25, 2019: After having tested the buffed Solari I believe it to be a fantastic rush option with this build. It's early game power is fantastic spelling stupid amounts and d falling strong into late with your health.

More of just an update in general, it's really busy rn at my job (FedEx Express, that time of year with every company doing early Black Friday now) and I'm practicing learning more of the intricacies of BBCode to improve all my guides so hopefully in the coming couple of months the guide will be vastly improved for everyone. Thankfully in the past several patches there haven't been really any major changes to impact this particular build/guide so it hasn't needed to much heavy updating but I AM still planning on reworking all my guides.

So, this is a REupdate since somehow I lost everything from my previous update; basically nothing much changed this patch. Mundo support is VERY weak in the current support meta with the absolute domination of lockdown and all in supports that he can't compete with, alongside the Nami buff giving people like Cait and MF even more brutal harass that he can't deal with. Still a fun pick but we'll have to wait for the all in meta to die down to see use from supp mundo again methinks.
Added ability section with more in depth ability usage tips
Hey guys I was actually on vacation in Poland for a few weeks so I didn't havea chance to do much w/ the last update. Overall I think support mundo may have actually gotten a slight bit stronger. It's still pretty weak and a for-fun build but with people like talon, zed, and darius being positioned to be playable in the jungle Mundo's ability to be an obnoxious nuisance to that style of enemy cannot be ignored in bot lane as he really is the ultimate meat shield in those situations.
Hey guys, it's been crazy the past couple of weeks, I pray everyone's staying safe right now. :)
Anyways the biggest change I'm making is adding Deaths Dance into the build. I think the new iteration of the item is actually pretty decent; albeit expensive. W/ the armor and MR addition I can definitely see it being pretty useful when you're able to pick it up, gives you some extra oomph and makes you more obnoxious to deal with between the bleed and the heal.
No changes this patch, still testing the comet built as I see potential but
A. I'm horrible at it since I'm still learning it and
B. I've barely had time to play him the past few weeks due to an uptick in work. But hopefully I'll be able to give a strong conclusion on Comet in the next week or so.
Finally made a decision on comet build: Fun as hell but really, really, genuinely bad.
Look, I tried really hard to make Comet work with different matchups and it had a lot of POTENTIAL and is SUUUUPPPPEERRR fun but I really cannot get it to be useful past the first like 10minutes of the game lol. I'll keep the rune build but I'm gonna go ahead and suggest you don't play it for anything aside from fun, cause it is pretty fun to just chunk the hell out of an enemy lane early game.
With marksmen getting a bit more annoying we likely get a bit less annoying. Still I think it's in a good spot but we'll have to see for sure and I'll do another update in a few days.
