Avoid getting hit by charm by reacting with casting ult at the time of her use, try to avoid using your W before your ult so you can chase her down if she tries to ult away and it should be free.
Akali
Akali is a very odd matchup, depending on her build and runes depends on the difficulties, she is also a matchup where if one plays safe enough they should almost never die to the other.
Anivia
Not too bad of a matchup seeming as though you can keep a safe range and out poke with your W, though she is quite annoying if your team needs you to get early kills and snowball.
Annie
Annie is very similar to Anivia though slightly harder, rather than sitting back and outpoking her with W, you have a lot more kill pressure though don't let this bait you into getting stunned and solo killed.
Aurelion Sol
Try to avoid getting stunned by his planet of a Q and you are sure to have nothing to worry about.
Azir
Azir is a lot harder than most people would think, assuming you're both evenly skilled. He has extreme poke and you have to be aware of how much you extend when you farm.
Brand
Try to avoid getting instantly stunned by his Passive + Q after you ult him, and you should have nothing to worry about.
Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia is quite a threat due to her ability to just stop you from teleporting towards your shadows. Try to play around her W and R and it shouldn't be too hard, make sure to avoid getting poisoned by her Q as it makes her E do ramping damage.
Corki
Corki is a fairly easy matchup, just be careful to not be destroyed in the early game.
Diana
Diana should be your ban if you're not too used to Zed. If you're experienced on Zed this matchup is only survivable with a Hexdrinker Eclipse rush.
Ekko
Ekko is similar to the Akali matchup where if one person goes in, the other person decides whether someone actually dies in the fight.
Fizz
A lot easier than some may think, I recommend rushing merc treads and Eclipse, Hexdrinker if you're behind. If he manages to land his ult on you, try and ult either him or another enemy to avoid the shark biting you.
Galio
I recommend Conquerer for this matchup, you should be able to out pressure him early and keep up with his roams.
Gangplank
Fairly simple matchup, try to use your blinks with W and R only when you have to, in-order to avoid damage from his Q and E.
Heimerdinger
Use W to try and poke down the Turrets and Heimerdinger.
Irelia
I recommend Conquerer with this matchup, with Eclipse this matchup is fairly easy and if their team is AD heavy, even plated steelcaps.
Jayce
This matchup is fairly annoying, and i don't have much more input for it. Goodluck though.
Karma
No, just no. Doesn't deserve to be midlane, get rid of it.
Camille
Although Conquerer may seem like the play for this matchup, i recommend Electrocute Eclipse.
Karthus
Just be careful to not be near his passive after you end his life and you're in the clear.
Kassadin
If you ever lose this matchup you shouldn't be allowed to play Zed.
Katarina
This matchup is easy when even but extremely hard when behind. You can use your ult to dodge her Q as you engage, and try to hold W for after ulting to chase her down if she tries to escape with her E.
LeBlanc
Take E at level 2, whenever she goes in for her Q W combo, try and retaliate with an Auto E then Q to proc electrocute. try to avoid ulting while her W and R are both up because it makes it quite difficult to land more than a single Q at that point.
Lissandra
A lot easier than a lot of people think. Just like Akali and Ekko, you'll never die if you don't engage so if you don't trust yourself to win the fight, you can simply avoid it. Just try to avoid tower diving while her ult is up.
Lucian
A lot harder than some might thing. His E makes it hard to land your W E Q combo while trading during the laning phase, and to land multiple Q's during fights. But luckily your burst makes up for a lot of this so just try to not get outplayed.
Lulu
Annoying as all heck but far from difficult.
Lux
A lot harder than some may think. Try to avoid ulting while her Q is up because then it's impossible to avoid her entire combo. Try using ult to avoid her Q or simply when it's on cooldown. Using W to engage and auto attack is good in this matchup as Lux has literally no escapes.
Malzahar
Rush a QSS if you need to, remember that Mercury Treads "DO NOT" reduce the duration of his ultimate. His passive shield is a bit odd, rather than blocking just one ability, if you use your abilities too quickly it has the ability to block EVERYTHING, so be careful when trading and take your time with ability usage.
Mordekaiser
Not too hard to deal with, just try your hardest to avoid Melee range.
Morgana
Literally the exact same as Lux though slightly more difficult due to her ultimate. (read the Lux one)
Neeko
Same as Morgana/Lux though slightly easier in my opinion. (Read Lux)
Nocturne
Just avoid melee range and you're completely fine.
Nunu & Willump
I don't have enough games to give a proper understanding, just try to use your ult to avoid his W.
Orianna
A lot harder than some might think, try to avoid ulting her without Pre W'ing as she may just instantly click r and combo you. Just accept that you're going to be harassed in the early and stack up on pots. Maybe get a Mercury Treads if needed but you should never need a Hexdrinker.
Pantheon
A lot easier than some may think, you can use your R to avoid his Q's and W's if timed well, and to hop behind him while his E is active. You will suffer before level 4 though levels 4 and up you should be ok.
Pyke
I personally hate this matchup. You could take Hail of Blades just to match his auto attack trades in the laning phase or just play extremely safe. Make sure to not use your W and R to dodge his abilities unless you're reacting to them as he can hold them for some time, especially his Q, wait for it to be thrown.
Qiyana
YOU. NEED. ECLIPSE. (Maybe steel caps if needed)
Renekton
AVOID HIM AND KITE, RUN FOREST RUN, GET ECLIPSE AND ELECTROCUTE.
Riven
Almost never use your ult before her W, and I recommend using your ult to dodge her final Q, and to hold W for after ulting incase she tries to avoid you with her E.
Rumble
I haven't versed a Rumble as Zed this entire season, but I assume you'd need to go Mercury Treads with Eclipse for this matchup, though Conquerer/Electrocute shouldn't matter too much and i personally believe that you should choose those off of the enemy teams team composition.
Ryze
Similar to Lux/Morgana. (Read Lux)
Seraphine
Similar to Neeko/Lux but just the training wheels version. (Read Lux)
Swain
Annoying as all heck due to his health regeneration and high health. I recommend rushing an executions though never actually finishing the complete health reduction item, and replacing Serylda's Grudge for a Lord Dominik's Regard due to it's passive.
Sylas
Him stealing your ultimate isn't bad at all due to the wording of Zed's ultimate. The burst of Death Mark states that it deals a percentage of all the damage dealt by "Zed", Sylas stealing your ult doesn't make him Zed. Try to avoid Melee range when he is missing a majority of his health due to his overpowered healing on his W. I recommend Eclipse and Mercury Treads for this matchup.

SAME AS DIANA. IF YOU DONT TRUST MATCHUP, BAN IT. RUSH HEXDRINKER AND MAYBE MERCURY TREADS WITH CONFIDENCE. (Read Diana)

Haven't laned this champ all season, not just as Zed but at all. I just assume it'll be fairly easy just as it was last season.
Talon
Just like Akali and Ekko, if one engages the other one chooses if someone dies, whether by fighting back or by simply retreating. Both of you are AD Burst Assassins with the abilities to engage and disengage. I recommend Eclipse though Prowler's is completely fine though you might want to invest into Plated Steelcaps if that's the case.
Twisted Fate
EASY. Try to dodge his Yellow Card with ultimate, don't get baited by him just turning around.
Twitch
AP Twitch mid huh? Just win... honestly...
Veigar
Slightly harder than some may assume, try to avoid ulting while his E is up as it results in a free stun for him into a free combo. I recommend Hexdrinker in this matchup and possibly Mercury Treads if their team has more CC.
Vel'Koz
A lot harder than some may think. Try to avoid ulting while his E is up and try to keep up with his trades. This comes down to a lot of Micro where it comes to dodging his attacks and landing your own. I recommend an early boots rush, whether it's Lucidity boots or Mercury Treads.
Viego
Haven't laned against him as Zed and hardly know what he does but i've been told the matchup should be considered comparable to Pyke. (Read Pyke)

This matchup may be extremely irritating but it's not too difficult, i recommend rushing Mercury Treads.
Vladimir
Not as hard as most people think, i recommend rushing Eclipse/Mercury Treads. Executioners won't be needed early due to Ignite though late game it might be a grab. If you get behind early maybe consider purchasing a Hexdrinker.
Xerath
Same as Lux pretty much, just easier. (Read Lux)
Yasuo
Zed should almost always win this matchup. If you don't trust yourself with your Q's or playing around His W/E, i recommend maxing E. Though an Eclipse buy is more than enough to destroy this matchup and possibly Plated Steelcaps if you find it needed. Consider Serpants Fang for his Shieldbow.
Yone
Zed should always win this matchup in my opinion, though it doesn't mean it's a walk in the park. Rush Eclipse and you can literally eat him in every fight. Just be aware that he has a lot of burst. Consider Serpants Fang for his Shieldbow.
