Hello! My name is Masha and I am a one trick Platinum Caitlyn main.

My view on builds is that they should match your playstyle. I hope that the advice in this guide helps you be a better Caitlyn, and that it matches how you want to play the game.

Kraken Slayer

The best mythic items for Caitlyn hands down. When it lines up with your headshot you can do massive damage! Overall Kraken Slayer is maximum DPS.

Galeforce

Viable for some people if you want mobility. This one is not my cup of tea and I never build it. Lets be real most games have a lot of tanks, and in tank meta kraken wins over galeforce every time. Overall Galeforce is utility.

Immortal Shieldbow

Maybe late game if they have a problematic assassin. Overall Immortal Shieldbow is maximum survivability.

Stormrazor

It has a 75% slow for 0.5 seconds, and I love it. Are you being chased? Auto and slow them! Are you trying to run someone down? Auto and slow them! Are you trying to start a fight because your team refuses to initiate? Auto someone and hope your team follows up!

Mortal Reminder

Now everyone can heal in a variety of ways and it's discouraging to attack someone and watch their life go up. There are a million different ways for a champion to get healing now, and this feels like a necessity.

Lord Dominik's Regards

Are you tired of everyone building armor all the time? Lord Dominik's Regards is your answer! You can get 35% armor pen with this item and it has a spicy passive if the enemy also has a lot of health. The passive, Giant Slayer, deals extra physical damage based on the maximum health difference between you and whoever you are trying to grey screen.

Guardian Angel

Are you a VIP on your team? Are you doing a lot in one life, think of what you could do with two!! You can't do damage when you're dead and this items gives you the chance to live your best life twice and continue doing damage to the enemy team. Plus if you get caught out you get a chance of spam pinging your team to help you live when you revive.

The Collector

This is hands down my favorite item in the game. Are you tired of ulting someone and having them survive with 2hp? Are you trying to kill steal for a better KDA? Did your support take all of your kills in laning phase and now you're 0/2/20? This item fixes all of that for you! You don't even need to last hit, they just get executed. I normally build this item when there are a lot of squishy champions on the enemy team. If you are against a lot of tanks then this is a very skippable item.

Bloodthirster

I like getting this item if there is a chance I can live in a team fight. It gives you attack damage, critical strike chance, as well as lifesteal. The passive is pretty nice too. Blood barrier converts the healing received from your life steal into a shield which slowly decays after not dealing or taking damage for 25 seconds. If your fights are extended and you're not getting burst down by an assassin I definitely reccomend getting it.

Zhonya's Hourglass

This one is pretty controversial. If the enemy has a lot of burst/assassins/mobility lifesteal won't be able to help you, especially if your team isn't peeling you. I usually buy this item in two situations. 1. Guardian Angel is on cooldown but I'm worried about a fight over an objective coming up. 2. The enemy Leblanc/Zed/Kayn/etc. have decided I don't get to play the game and I am dying too much to them. I recommend turning off pings or chat after you do this because sometimes the teams that aren't peeling you will also be angry that you're buying an AP item, but sometimes it's worth it to be able to contribute in a team fight after the enemy used all of their spells on you.

Infinity Edge

I usually get this item if I'm ahead and I just want more damage. The passive, Perfection, gives you 35% bonus critical strike damage if you have at least 60% critical strike chance already.

Rapid Firecannon

For me this is a pretty situtional item. I usually build it if, even as a Caitlyn with my long range, I can't get close to the enemy to do damage. Relevant if the enemy can just run you down, or if you're against a long range enemy champion (ex. Xerath/Velkoz). It's also a good item if you're trying to stay far away from hook champions like Blitzcrank, but you still want to participate in the fight.

Does farming until late game sound appealing to you ? When lots of people want to ff 15 ?
No, me neither, it's so boring. I love Caitlyn because she has a lot of range and can bully the enemy team early game.
Headshots are going to end up being your main source of damage which you can get through autos, traps, and nets.
Late game Cait with full build is absolute *chefs kiss* and I hope that you have a great time playing my favorite champ !!
